Just then, I arrive at the scene, hovering in the air using my forcefield barrier. The sight of Toni's battered form fills me with a mix of shock and rage. I know I have to act fast.
I create a Forcefield around Toni, making her Invisible and pulling her away from the path of Obadiah's minigun. As Stane notices Toni's sudden disappearance, he yells in frustration, his eyes darting around in confusion.
"Where are you, Toni? You can't hide forever!" he bellows, firing the minigun wildly in all directions.
With Toni safely out of harm's way, I also turn myself Invisible and activate Personal Anti-Force power, generating anti-gravitons around me to negate the effects of gravity.
Angling myself towards Stane, I create a forcefield barrier on my legs, I bend my legs and push against it with my full power, propelling myself like an invisible rocket towards him.
WHOOSH!
I streak towards Obadiah with incredible speed, I also form a forcefield in front of me just before impact.
Bang!
I crash into him, causing him to stumble back and fall to the ground from the force of the collision.
Toni as soon as she went invisible, had realized it instantly that it should be Luke's doing. From nearby she sees Obadiah fall down abruptly with a loud noise.
Obadiah grunts and yells in surprise, struggling to comprehend what just happened. "Damn you, Stark! You think you can outsmart me?"
Ignoring his ramblings, I touch his suit while remaining Invisible and activate Metal Constructs power to manipulate the suit's structure.
As I imagine the suit to have an opening behind it, the Mk-II armor begins to open up from behind, the metal starts rearranging following my thoughts.
Stane looks up in shock as the suit disintegrates around him, leaving him exposed and vulnerable. "What... what are you doing?" he stammers, stumbling onto the road without his suit in his regular clothes.
I first make the suit Invisible and lift the remnants of the suit away from him easily, using my Anti-force power to make it weigh nothing.
I then reach near Toni and telepathically, communicate with her. 'He's all yours to finish. I have taken care of the suit'
I also use some of the metal from the Mk-II suit to patch up her armour using Metal constructs, even crafting a rudimentary helmet. As she stands up, she mutters a grateful, "Thank you," even though she can't see me.
I deactivate her Invisibility, and she reappears, her armour now a gleaming mixture of red and silver.
Obadiah, still confused, looks around wildly. His eyes finally land on Toni, and he snarls, "Even if you have outsmarted me and taken away the armour, I will never give up!" He pulls out a gun and fires at Toni.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The bullets harmlessly bounces off Toni's armour, clinking against the metal.
Toni walks towards him with a determined stride. Stane backs away, his confidence faltering as his bullets run out. He frantically reloads, but Toni is already upon him.
She lifts her right hand, and the repulsor in her only working gauntlet glows with a menacing light. Obadiah looks up at her, fury and fear mingling in his eyes.
"You will regret this, Stark!" he spits.
Toni's expression hardens. "No, Obadiah. The only regret of mine is that I trusted you"
At the last moment, instead of firing the repulsor, she pulls her hand back and delivers a full-powered punch to his face.
Bam!
Crunch!
The impact is tremendous, knocking him out cold. He crumples to the ground, unconscious.
Breathing heavily, Toni stands over him, as she mutters "Death is too easy for you, you still have to pay for your crimes!"
I look at the sprawled body of Obadiah and sigh, at last this long and eventful night is over!
