Nikolas smiled a little as he started to explain. "Oh, it's like this... umm..." He pointed at Alicia, who was on Alexei's right side, and continued speaking, "It was her brother, who beat him up."
Vaughn looked at Alicia with interest. "Oh, how interesting." Then his gaze shifted to Alexei. "Why did he beat you? What did you do?"
Alexei's lips pursed into a thin line as he looked at Alicia from the corner of his eyes. "It was just a wrestling match."
Vaughn nodded in question. "Looking at your condition, it does seem it was a wrestling match."
Alexei caught the mockery in his words but looked away. He was not in the mood for Vaughn's mockery or any argument, he just wanted to rest. He turned around and walked towards his room. But Alicia followed him behind.
Hearing her footsteps, Alexei paused. Alicia stopped too, confused why he paused so suddenly.
Everyone in the hall watched them with interest.
