Eliza nodded, understanding the weight of his words. "Its okay.." she replied softly. "it's not your fault, Vaughn. You can't control how she feels."
Vaughn looked at Eliza, his eyes filled with a mixture of emotions but also a deep, unwavering love for her. "I know," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I hate seeing her like that. She's been through so much already, and now…"
Eliza reached out and placed a hand on his arm, offering him the comfort he so desperately needed. "She'll be okay.. don't worry..," she said, her voice gentle. "She just needs time."
Vaughn nodded, though the weight of the situation still lingered heavily on his shoulders.
