Ivan pulled out his phone and dialed Gaskins' number, his expression dark. As the phone rang, Vaughn paced the room, his mind racing with thoughts of the impending confrontation.
After a few rings, Ivan spoke. "Gaskins, it's Ivan. Vaughn wants a meeting. Tomorrow. Face-to-face."
There was a pause as Ivan listened to the response on the other end. "You'll be there," Ivan said firmly, then ended the call. He turned to Vaughn. "He's agreed to meet. Tomorrow at noon, at the old warehouse on the outskirts of town."
Vaughn nodded, his jaw set with determination. "Good. We are all ready."
After the meeting was decided for tomorrow with Gaskins, Vaughn walked towards Eliza's room. He opened the door and saw Jannie sitting on the sofa. Seeing Vaughn, she stood up and walked out to speak with him in the hallway.
"Did he talk?" Jannie asked, her voice low.
Vaughn nodded. "Yes."
"Who was behind the abduction?" Jannie inquired.
