My steps led me back to the industrial district, specifically to the Development Department managed by Henry, an old dwarf and one of the finest engineers in Althuria. The buildings in this district were alive with noise—the clanging of metal, bursts of steam, and the hum of machinery that never seemed to stop. Yet, these sounds carried a sense of progress, an energy that made the district feel vibrant.
I entered the main workshop where Henry typically worked. Sure enough, he stood in the center of the room, surrounded by heavy tools, giant gears, and prototype machines only he could comprehend. His face lit up with enthusiasm as he greeted me, his long beard nearly brushing the workbench.
"Ah, Johan! Finally, you're here again!" he exclaimed in his raspy but spirited voice. "I've been dying to show you the progress on your crazy idea!"
