The night was supposed to be quiet. After the battle with the fire-wielding villain and Nate's unexpected debut as The Host, he had barely had time to rest. But rest wasn't an option.
Something was coming.
Henry had noticed it first—anomalies in the city's security feeds, shadows moving unnaturally fast, figures appearing and disappearing in places they shouldn't be. At first, he thought it was a glitch in the system, but as the occurrences increased, it became clear.
Someone was hunting Nate.

Henry sat at his workstation, screens filled with live surveillance feeds from across Coast City. The tension in the air was thick.
"You're being tracked," Henry said, his voice unusually grim.
Nate, standing in front of the mirror, saw Antrasite's dark silhouette flicker within the glass. "Tracked? By who?"
Henry clicked a few buttons, replaying slowed-down footage. A hooded figure moved through the city like a shadow—unseen by crowds, unnoticed by cameras, but not by Henry's systems.
"They're good," Henry admitted. "I barely caught them. But they're following a direct pattern—all leading toward you."
Nate turned away from the mirror, his jaw tightening. "So, what do we do?"
"We prepare," Henry said. "This isn't some street thug. This is someone who knows what they're doing."

On top of a high-rise building, the hunter watched the city below. Their eyes glowed faintly under the mask, locked onto the hidden path leading to Nate's location.
"The Host..." they muttered. "Let's see what you're really made of."
With a flicker of movement, they vanished into the darkness.
