A new chapter.
I received a comment that someone wanted me to add Law to Oliver crew.
I love Law; he is my favorite character in one piece, but sorry to say this, he will not join the Oliver crew. When I first decided to write this fanfic, I was planning for Oliver to be his first mate, but most of you didn't want this, so I rewrote the chapters I already wrote. I can't satisfy everyone, sorry.
I would appreciate it if someone could create a cover page for this story. I searched on the internet to find a proper cover page for this story, but I couldn't find one I liked. The cover page I have in mind is a white tiger head with crossbones.
I plan to recruit some characters from other anime (they will follow one piece power system), some one-piece characters, and some OC. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know. I might use your suggestions if I like them, but I won't use supernova characters.
15 powerstone for a new chapter within 24 hours.
________
After Oliver and Ray exited the sword shop, Oliver heard the system notification in his head.
DING, Congratulations, host You have taken Sandai Kitetsu and proved to the sword shop owner that the Sandai Kitetsu curse will not affect you. Would you like to claim your rewards now, host?
After hearing what the system said, Oliver replied to the system right away, "No system, I will receive my rewards later."
Ray looked at Oliver and said, "Alright, kid, we are going to part ways, but before we part ways, take this."
Ray tossed a piece of plain paper to Oliver, who caught it and examined it. Oliver was perplexed to discover that there was no writing on the paper, despite it being the size of a book page.
Oliver looked at Ray questionably, and Ray just smiled at Oliver. "This is known as a Vivre card," he informed Oliver. "It is a special kind of paper. It is made from my fingernail. This Vivre card will always point in my direction no matter where you are."
After hearing this, Oliver was stunned. Ray continued, "Listen well, Oliver; once you experience the real world and believe that you need to get stronger, come and find me."
Oliver nodded his head in understanding to Ray. Ray then tore off a small piece of the Vivre card and declared, "I will keep this piece of the Vivre card in case of an emergency. Oliver, now go and show the world what you are capable of."
When Oliver heard these words, his eyes moistened, and he bowed his head to Ray, saying, "Old man, thank you for everything you have done to me." I will never be able to repay your kindness. I promise I will make you proud. Just watch. I will be the strongest in all history."
Ray's eyes moistened a little, but he didn't say anything. He turned around, waved his hand, and started walking away while smiling proudly. He then thought to himself, "You already made me proud, my son, until we meet again."
After Ray turned around the alley, he saw a green-robed figure with half of his right side of his face covered with a red tattoo.
Ray smiled when he saw him and said, "Dragon, it has been a while."
Dragon smirked at his old friend and said, "Ray, you raised little Oliver well; why didn't you invite him to join the revolutionary army like I asked you to do?"
Ray laughed at this and replied to his friend, "I asked him, but he said he can't see himself working under anybody." This was to be expected after all; my son had the quality of a king."
Ray proudly smirked at Dragon, and Dragon reciprocated the smirk. "Alright Ray, let's go. I want to first introduce you to the east blue army commander, then I will take you to our main base of operation," Dragon said.
Ray nodded to Dragon, and Dragon grabbed his arm.
"WHOSH."
After a moment, they both disappeared in a gust of wind.
_______
With Oliver
After Oliver parted ways with Ray, he began wandering aimlessly in Logue Town, pondering, "I need to buy a boat to leave Logue Town and travel around the East Blue for sometime; the boat must have a kitchen for me to cook."
Oliver smirked, and then he started asking the citizens of the town where he could go by boat.
After receiving the shop's directions, Oliver located the shop and proceeded inside.
"DING, DONG."
A bulky muscular man in his thirties looked at Oliver with a smile. He is a man with tanned skin, bold features, a long black beard, and striking eyes.
He smiled at Oliver and said, "Welcome customer, how can I help you today?"
Oliver smiled politely to the shop owner and said, "I am looking for a small boat with a built-in kitchen. Do you have any?"
The shop owner smiled and nodded. He then addressed Oliver, saying, "Yes, customer, there is only one small boat remaining with a built-in kitchen." It is big enough for four people. Please follow me."
"Perfect," Oliver thought to himself, then he followed the shop owner to the island shore.
After walking for two minutes, Oliver and the shop owner arrived at the island shore.
Oliver saw many boats and ships in different sizes, shapes, and types. Oliver was astonished by what he was witnessing; he had never seen so many ships in one place before, even during his time living in the grandline with Ray.
The shop owner then smiled at Oliver and said to him, "Customer, please follow me."
Oliver nodded and smiled at the shop owner, then followed him.
When they arrived in front of a purple boat, it was big enough for four people to sail.
Oliver started looking around the boat; he was very satisfied. The boat had two rooms and a kitchen.
The rooms were big enough for two people to sleep in, and the kitchen had everything a cook might need: a fridge, oven, every cooking utensil, and burner."
Oliver turned to the shop owner and said, "Shop owner I would like to buy this boat." How much does it cost?"
The shop owner smiled and said, "Look, kid, this is the only small boat that has built-in kitchen left. The original price of this boat is 50,000 Beli, but since it's the last one in stock, you're in luck. I'll give you a discount and only charge you 30,000 Beli.
Oliver's eyebrows twitched in annoyance. "I spent 10 years working in the restaurant, and all I saved is 40,000 Beli." He thought to himself.
Oliver then sighed and continued contemplating, "I will need to think of a way to make money soon; I will soon run out of money."
Oliver then gave 30,000 Beli to the shop owner, who was smiling broadly at Oliver and said to him, "Come to my shop after half an hour, kid. I will clean and prepare this boat for sailing. It will take me half an hour to get everything ready."
Oliver nodded to the shop owner and left, thinking to himself, "I will go shopping for food; it will take me half an hour to buy everything I need."
After making up his mind, Oliver walked to the market to buy food to prepare for his voyage around East Blue.
_____
After half an Hour
After Oliver bought all the ingredients he needed for his voyage, he returned to the boat shop and met the shop owner again.
They walked back to the shore with the shop owner, and Oliver boarded his new boat.
"Take care of yourself, kid. If you ever need a new boat or a ship in the future, come and find me, kid. I will give you a discount." The shop owner said to Oliver.
Oliver smirked, nodded his head, and said, "I will be sure to come and see you if I need a boat or a ship; you better keep your promise."
The shop owner smirked and waved his hand goodbye to Oliver as Oliver sailed away from Logue Town.
_______
After one hour
Oliver cooked for himself some curry and salad. After he finished eating his meal, he started drinking some whisky, and he said to the system, "System, explain to me the Lunarian bloodline."
Certainly, host, Lunarians are a race of people from the Red Line capable of creating fire from their bodies. The race is commonly known to be extinct.
A pair of black-feathered wings on their back, silver-white hair, and brown skin distinguish lunarians, despite their mostly human appearance. In addition, lunarians have a plume of fire near-constantly burning on their upper back, although it will go out at certain points.
Lunarians possess the ability to "ignite" their body and manipulate the fire they create, which includes the projection of concentrated fire blasts or fire-clad physical attacks. Furthermore, the physiology of Lunarians endows them with a remarkable vitality and resilience to harm, almost to the point of invulnerability, enabling them to thrive in any natural environment. However, it appears that, at certain points, a Lunarian's signature durability is lost when the flame burning at their back goes out, though they will gain extra speed in exchange. Whether a lunarian's flame extinguishes only when they want it to or if there is a time limit on how long their flame can persist is currently unclear.
Lunarians used to be known as a tribe of "gods" while they dwelled on top of the Red Line. There used to exist a "Kingdom of Gods" on the red continent long before Mary Geoise was ever there.
However, under as-of-yet unknown circumstances, Lunarians have gone nearly extinct; no one knows if any of them have survived. The World Government seemingly hunts lunarians around the world to this day, rewarding anyone with a handsome sum of 100,000,000 Beli for any tip-off about a Lunarian's whereabouts.
Lunarians can weaponize their fire in combat. This allows them to unleash powerful fire blasts or gatlings, clad their limbs and weapons in fire to enhance their melee attacks, and even shape their flames into constructs, including enormous ones. Furthermore, it appears that a Lunarian has the ability to release fire from their entire body in all directions, resulting in a powerful explosion.
After hearing what the system said about the Lunarians, he smiled sadly at first, then his eyes sharpened and he said, "This world government is so disgusting. They are behind the extinction of the Lunarians. Am sure about it. If they are not, then why are they willing to pay 100,000,000 Beli for any information of their whereabouts?'
Oliver inhaled deeply before addressing the system. I don't want to walk around with black wings and a plume of fire on my back."
After expressing this to the system, Oliver received a response.
Don't worry, host; you will be a hybrid of humans and Lunarians. Your appearance will not change your black wings, and the plume of fire could be concealed inside of your body thanks to being a Lunarian and human hybrid. You will also be able to summon them at any time.
However, your physical strength, endurance, and resistance will grow tremendously even if you conceal your Lunarian wings and the fire plume, thanks to the Lunarians blood and your innate physical constitution.
You will have the potential to surpass all Lunarians based on physical strength, endurance, and speed alone.
Oliver nodded in understanding and then asked the system, "Is it possible to exchange rewards I receive?"
Yes, Host, if you decide to exchange your reward, you will have a chance to spin exchange rewards roulette. The frequency of exchange rewards roulette spins is determined by the rarity of the reward you receive. When you exchange a reward, you can spin the roulette a maximum of five times and a minimum of once.
Oliver then took another large gulp of whisky and remembered how Ray had introduced him to Dragon two years ago, and how Dragon had begun teaching him the fundamentals of conqueror Haki.
Flashback
Oliver was sweating profusely and breathing hard as he sat on the ground, and his back was leaning against a tree cloak.
A man walked towards him. With a red tattoo on the right half of his face and a green cloak, he smiled at Oliver, "You are learning quickly, kid. Keep up the good work."
Oliver smiled at the man and said, "Thank you, Uncle Dragon. I will try my best to master the basics of conqueror Haki."
The man nodded in satisfaction. He then sat next to Oliver. He looked at him in curiosity and asked, "Tell me, kid, Ray told me you ate the white tiger devil fruit. Why are you not training your devil fruit powers?"
Oliver scoffed at this, saying, "I don't want to take shortcuts; I want to become stronger with my hard work."
When he said this, Dragon smirked, grabbed Oliver's sword, and asked, "Listen, kid, what do you think will happen if I give this sword to someone who has never wielded a sword before?"
Oliver looked at Dragon strangely and said, "He will swing the sword like an amature."
Dragon nodded to him, "Your devil fruit is just another sword in your arsenal. How powerful this sword will be in the future will depend on you. There are many devil fruit users in the world; some of them are pathetic, and to be honest, some of them are incredible. To develop your devil fruit, you will need to train hard and think outside the box. Think of it as acquiring a new talent.
When Oliver heard this, he smiled widely and stood up, "Yeah, you are right, uncle Dragon. Thank you for clarifying this to me."
Dragon smirked, "Good, how about I train you also in your devil fruit powers? I am a devil fruit user after all."
Oliver ginned widely and said, "Thank you, uncle Dragon."
End of Flashback
Oliver smiled when he remembered his conversation with Dragon and said, "Alright, system, I want to claim my rewards."
As you wish, host.
Suddenly Oliver felt a tremendous amount of pain from every cell in his body.
He felt like every cell in his body was being grilled by magma.
Oliver grunted in pain, but his eyes remained firm and full of defiance.
All of a sudden, two huge black feathered wings came out of his back, destroying his red shirt, and a plume of fire appeared behind his head.
Oliver then heard the system notification in his head.
Congratulations, host! You gained Lunarian bloodline and have become half Lunarian.
Suddenly, a black scroll appeared from thin air bearing the words "Cursed Sword Art Manual" in bold letters.
Congratulations, host! You have received the Curse Sword Art manual.
Oliver ignored the system. He stood up and took a closer look at his newly acquired wing and plume of fire. He frowned. He asked the system, "How can I conceal the wings and the plume of fire inside of me?"
Oliver received a response from the system after he asked his question.
Host, you only need to will your wings and plume of fire to enter your body.
Oliver nodded in understanding, closed his eyes, and followed the system's instructions.
"SWISH."
A moment later, the huge black wings and plump of fire disappeared inside Oliver's body.
Oliver smiled, then frowned when he saw his destroyed shirt, saying, "Damn it, that was my favourite shirt."
Then, bending down, he grabbed the Curse Sword Art manual and began to reflect deeply within himself. "I need to be careful when using the Lunarian bloodline; I hate to admit it, but I am still not strong enough to fight against the admirals and those high-ranking Marines. Ray told me many stories about his time in the Navy, and it is terrible news for me to face them now. I need to get stronger fast."
He sat on the deck and continued to think, "But maybe I can use the flame ability without exposing my wings; everybody will think the flame is one of my devil fruit abilities."
Oliver smirked. After making up his mind, he sat on the deck, opened the scroll, and started reading the Curse Sword Art manual.
