"I'm going to kill you..." Sukuna whispered, his voice filled with hatred as he glared across the room.
"I'm happy to see you too," a voice responded from the darkness. Emerging from the shadows was a man with jet-black hair and eyes of the same color, standing about 1.75 meters tall, dressed in black battle robes. "Why don't you come over here and settle this the old-fashioned way?" he said, confident in his abilities. "After all, I don't think I'll ever see you this weak again."
"DISMANTLE," roared Sukuna, firing an intense blast of cursed energy from his fingers.
TINCK
"Wow, you really are weak," Kaede appeared behind Sukuna, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"--!" Sukuna, repeating the same move, managed to cut Kaede's cheek before he disappeared again. "Tsk, you're really annoying, Kaede."
"You're making me blush, old friend. Still remember me," Kaede said with a mocking smile.
Both beings stared at each other, reminiscing about old times.
"You know-"
Outside
"... Sorry," Yuji said, scratching his head. "It's just that I feel like there are two presences inside me. It's very confusing."
"Two? Wow, didn't expect that... Anyway, bring out either one, I don't care. Give us ten seconds," said Gojo, confident.
"But..."
"Don't worry, I'm the strongest," Gojo said with total assurance. "Megumi, hold this," he tossed a gift bag to him.
"What is this?" Megumi asked, looking inside the bag.
"Kiku-Fuku, a specialty from Sendai, super delicious. My recommendation is the cream and bean paste ones," Gojo explained.
"You came after buying souvenirs when people are dying?" Megumi asked, shocked.
"They're not souvenirs, it's for the train ride back," Satoru explained while a marked Itadori watched all this.
"When will you stop talking?" those words belonged to Kaede, who had taken control of Itadori's body. "So... can you explain what's going on here?"
"Oh, you're not Sukuna? Who are you?" Satoru asked the anomaly present.
"Mmmh?" Kaede hummed, studying the person in front of him. "You can call me Kaede, though I'm known by other names... And who are you, blindfolded chatterbox?"
"Chatterbox, hehe. I'm Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer," he said in a mocking tone.
"... Let's see if your words are true."
TINCK
Suddenly, Kaede appeared behind Satoru, ready to punch him. "Huh? Disappeared?"
"Wow, you're fast," Satoru spoke, leaning on the back of his attacker.
'What? Does he have the same technique? No, he teleported instantly. Haha, how interesting,' Kaede thought, jumping and preparing his next attack. Charging cursed energy into his fist, he punched the air.
"Mmh?" Satoru, observing Kaede's movements, didn't understand why he did that.
TINCK
Suddenly, an overwhelming amount of energy was shot directly at Satoru's face, but the impact never came. 'That sound again, does it have something to do with his technique?'
'Strange, my energy stopped just before touching him,' Kaede analyzed the technique of the proclaimed strongest. "Wow, I must say that ability sounds familiar. So you have Limitless, huh."
"Oh, did you meet someone from my clan?" Satoru asked, surprised.
"Haha, let's say I did," Kaede responded mockingly. "Let's say they gave me a lot of trouble."
"Anyway, that makes nine now, you'll have to go at any moment."
TUCK TUCK
'Uhg, what is this? It's trying to suppress me,' Kaede resisted the sealing. "I've never met someone capable of containing us, let alone a human. Anyway, it's been a pleasure, Gojo Satoru, we'll talk again later."
"Oh, I'm back," and at the same moment, the marks disappeared, and Itadori Yuji returned.
'Fifteen seconds instead of ten. He resisted this kid,' Gojo thought, sighing. "So you can control both of them."
"Uh, ah, yeah, I can, though they're kind of noisy," Yuji complained about the two beings he now contained.
"It's more than a miracle that it's just that," Gojo said, approaching and touching Itadori's forehead.
"Huh?" and suddenly, the vessel fell unconscious.
"What did you do to him?" Megumi asked.
"I knocked him out. If Sukuna and that Kaede didn't take the body, then this kid has potential," Gojo said, holding Itadori and looking at Megumi. "And here comes the question... What do we do with him?"
"Even if he has potential, according to the regulations, Itadori is condemned to death," Megumi said, looking at Itadori. "But... I don't want him to die."
"Is that what you want?"
"Yes, that's what I want. Do something," he said with determination in his eyes.
"Haha," Satoru began to laugh. "Leave it to me. After all, as a teacher, it's my duty to support my dear student."
