Chereads / HIS SLAVE TO HIS QUEEN / Chapter 2 - ACCIDENT

Chapter 2 - ACCIDENT

I was in the middle of a conversation when everything suddenly went dark. I woke up to howls and growls coming from a distance. I didn't realize where I was or what was going on. I tried to get out of my car seat, but it was dark, with the only light coming from the moon. After I stopped feeling dizzy, I realized my parents were not in the car. I got up and tried to open the car door to my left, but something blocked it. I couldn't see anything because it was dark outside. I moved to the driver's seat and turned on the headlights. I then realized that the car was on the edge of a cliff. One wrong move and I would be gone. I tried to open the driver-side door to see the depth, but it was so deep that I couldn't even see the bottom. Carefully, I climbed into the backseat and opened the car trunk. Thankfully, there was a tree right behind the car. If I could turn into a wolf right now, I might be able to climb the tree and get out of here.

I closed my eyes and focused on turning into a wolf, but, I felt nothing. Despite the moonlight hitting me continuously, I still hadn't transformed. I tried again, and this time, my body started to hurt badly. I screamed in pain as my body twisted and turned, and finally, I transformed. However, it was overwhelming, and I couldn't remember my name. I was also hungry, and I realized that no one had told me that I would gain weight when transformed. Suddenly, I noticed that the car was about to fall, and I had to fight with my inner demon, who was hungry. I managed to overpower it and jumped onto a tree just as the car fell off the cliff and exploded.

Noticing that the tree couldn't handle much weight and the slope was slanted, I decided to run up. I ran nonstop until I reached the road. I looked around and could hear growls and howls. As I ran in that direction, I saw my parents fighting with a pack of wolves. My first instinct was to help them, but my second was to eat because I was starving. I chose the second option and went into the woods. I found some rabbits and ate them. Once I felt like I had eaten, I went back. This time, my parents were losing badly. The other pack outnumbered them. I growled and walked towards them, standing in front of my parents. My mom was worried and wanted me to return, but I chose not to." I stood my ground, glaring at the enemies. The alpha stepped forward and laughed, and so did the others. "They were mocking us and discussing how a Luna, with her skills and abilities, couldn't potentially defeat them in a confrontation. That was enough to make me mad, yet I didn't attack. Growing up, my father always taught me how to fight. He always said that no matter what, never attack first, which is why I didn't attack.

After their alpha had calmed down and stopped laughing, he signaled two of his omega companions to attack me. Internally, I couldn't help but smirk as I anticipated their approach. The omegas growled menacingly as they lunged to bite my neck, but with swift instinct, I managed to take them down. This was just the beginning as one by one, I skillfully subdued most of them - the sentinels, deltas, hunters, betas, warriors, all of them. I made a deliberate choice not to harm the healers, as my intention was not to kill. Finally, I confronted the alpha and, after bringing him down, I bent down to his level and growled in his ear...
