The beach sand was brown with a golden hue.
Haze swam even faster now. In his previous life, he had watched various movies where the protagonist was just about to reach their goal when something terrible would happen.
He didn't want that to happen to him, he needed to get out of the seas as fast as he could.
When the beach was only a few feet away, Haze began to tense up, ready for something to spring out and try to stop him from reaching dry land.
However, nothing happened. Haze reached the beach and when his hands first touched the sandy ground, he felt elation.
He placed his feet in the sand and climbed onto the beach. He had made it. It had taken him forever and he used up most of his strength but he had made it.
Haze stumbled further onto the beach, loving the feeling of solid ground beneath his feet. He promptly dropped to the floor and lay on his back.
