"Where is he?", He asked Haze.
Haze looked around in surprise.
The guard Adam held down a few moments ago was nowhere to be found.
Something like panic began to bloom in his chest.
He needed to taste the blood of the guard to unlock his skill.
"I can't believe you let him get away dude", Adam complained.
"You were holding him. You let him go", Haze pointed out.
He could his annoyance growing.
So far, Adam had done nothing but make this mission harder for him.
Whatever Hades' plan was, it was seriously inconveniencing him.
He would have to give Hades a piece of his mind when next they met.
If they met....
"There's no point standing around if we're not going to find him", Haze said and made to step out of the door.
It was at this moment that a peculiar scent tickled his nose.
Haze froze midstep and sniffed around the air, trying to locate the smell.
