Haze's curiosity was piqued, his mind whirling with questions as they trekked onwards.
He peppered Gatti with questions, his voice low and urgent as he sought to understand the state of affairs back in the Underworld, how Hades was faring, was there any new developments?
"The situation in the Underworld is still dire," Gatti said, the tension in his voice betraying the severity of the situation. "Hades is fine, although he seems more on edge than ever."
His gaze turned inward, his eyes unfocused as he recalled the events that had led him here.
"With your absence, Hades' temper has only gotten worse," Gatti continued, his voice dropping to a near whisper. "He's retreated into himself. His moods are unpredictable, his rage simmering just beneath the surface."
"If something bad were to happen to you," Gatti said, his voice quiet and laden with empathy, "Hades would blame himself. You know that, don't you?"
