More broken statues of goblins, orcs, and ogres littered the floor when we descended in the lower chamber, their shattered remnants casting eerie shadows in the dim, flickering torchlight.
Nobody paid much attention to it because broken statues were a common sight in dungeons, after all. Instead, everyone was focused on finding the Yakagami mirror. Once we located it and brought it back to the surface, the hurdle would be complete, and the dungeon would naturally die, having no core to power it up. The lower chamber was a labyrinthine maze of identical rooms, each one a potential hiding place for the mirror.
