After Naruto and Ino left Konoha Hospital, they went on a date. However, it was really just Ino dragging Naruto to Ichiraku Ramen.
While waiting for their food, Naruto asked curiously, "Isn't a date supposed to be about watching movies, playing games, shopping together, and stuff like that?"
"Humph... After eating ramen, I might go along with your ideas," Ino replied with a sly smile, looking like a devil. Naruto rolled his eyes but didn't say anything. When their ramen arrived, he asked, "Are you serious, Ino? Don't you like Sasuke? Why are you dating me?"
Even though he was still unsure, Naruto had a feeling Ino had other motives for this date.
Ino forced a smile and said, "There are many reasons, Naruto. How did you suddenly become so powerful? You have learned a lot of new jutsu!"
"That's true, Ino. So, what do you like? Besides Sasuke, of course," Naruto asked, understanding that Ino wasn't really interested in dating him.
"Me? What do I like?" Ino pointed at herself, thought for a moment, then gave Naruto a playful wink and moved closer. "Guess, Naruto. Guess what I like."
Naruto ate his ramen leisurely and said with a smile, "Makeup, flowers, friends, and partners... Ino, did you do this for Sasuke or for your teammate Shikamaru? In a month, Shikamaru and I will be fighting. You went on a date with me because of Shikamaru, didn't you?"
"How did you know?!" Ino asked in surprise.
Naruto's expression didn't change much as he replied, "I guessed. But, Ino, even if I tell you my abilities, Shikamaru still won't be able to win in a month. When there's such a big gap in strength, no amount of strategy will help."
After finishing his ramen, Naruto stood up and waved to Ino. "Thanks for the meal, Ino. Tell Shikamaru I won't lose to him in the Chunin Exam in a month!"
With that, he left, leaving Ino staring at his back in a daze.
"I'm not being stubborn or hate dating you..." Ino muttered, feeling misunderstood.
Suddenly, she looked her empty bowl and got furious again. "Damn Naruto! I didn't get anything out of him, and he got a free meal!"
Naruto felt happy after the free meal with Ino. He patted his stomach and wandered around Konoha Village, paying special attention to bathhouses and hot springs.
As he walked past a hot spring street, Naruto spotted a peeping tom. The guy had white hair, carried a huge scroll, and held something like a telescope, smiling lecherously.
"It's him, the Pervy Sage," Naruto thought, about to act but suddenly stopped.
"Yeah, the Third Hokage..." Naruto took a deep breath, thinking, "If nothing changes, the Third Hokage will die."
Considering this, Naruto decided to take a different approach. "Wow, you doing something really exciting..."
Jiraiya turned slightly and, seeing Naruto, was startled. "What? It's you, kid. Go away. This is the world of adults."
"Tsk, what do you know, you white-haired perv? It's better when they're covered with cloth, with a hint of mystery!" Naruto said, approaching to peek as well. Jiraiya's face twisted in annoyance, feeling belittled. Just as he was about to react, Naruto suddenly exclaimed, "Wow, look at that figure! Perfect score! That lady is beautiful!"
"What? Where?" Jiraiya rushed over quickly.
Naruto smiled, pointed with one hand, and discreetly touched Jiraiya's shoulder with the other. "Of course, it's there!"
Jiraiya's face changed dramatically, and he vanished, leaving behind his clothes and scroll. Naruto had sent him away using the Flying Thunder God Jutsu.
Naruto clapped his hands, grabbed Jiraiya's clothes and scroll, and stood up, smiling. "Thankfully, the Third Hokage told me to leave a Flying Thunder God mark outside his office window. Sorry, Pervy Sage. If you had helped, the Third Hokage might not have died and could have retired normally."
Taking Jiraiya's things, Naruto ran towards the Hokage Building.
At the Hokage Building, in his office, Sarutobi Hiruzen was smoking a pipe and reviewing documents. Suddenly, he heard a noise outside the window and stopped what he was doing. Jiraiya was hanging naked outside the window. When he saw Sarutobi, they stared at each other.
"Kiyaaaah" hiruzen shouted
his pipe fell again on the table. He pointed at Jiraiya, "You, you, you... Jiraiya, you're back... No, what's wrong with you?"
"Old man, do you have any clothes?" Jiraiya asked, tears in his eyes. He had returned to the village secretly, not wanting his sensei to know. But things hadn't gone as planned.
"What extra clothes do I have here? You met Naruto, didn't you?" Sarutobi Hiruzen figured out what happened, understanding Naruto's special Flying Thunder God Technique. First, Orochimaru, and now Jiraiya had fallen for it. Fortunately, Sarutobi had told Naruto not to place the mark in a septic tank.
"I wonder if Tsunade will fall for it too,..heheehehehe" Sarutobi thought.
Coming back to his senses, he looked at Jiraiya and said, "Where are you doing outside by showing passers-by see your butt?"
Jiraiya felt likedigging himsef into a hole. As he came in dejectedly, there was a loud knock on the door, scaring Jiraiya so much he quickly used the transformation technique to turn into a toad.
"Grandpa Hokage, I just saw Jiraiya, one of the Three Sannin. Is he a bad guy like Orochimaru? I saw him peeping at the women's bathhouse, so I sent him to you with the Flying Thunder God Technique. Did you catch that pervy old man?" Naruto's voice sounded from outside the door.
Sarutobi Hiruzen looked at the toad beside him, his expression growing even weirder. Jiraiya had been like this for years, and he hadn't changed a bit.

When Konohagakure - also known as the Village Hidden In The Leaves - was initially founded, it was the first ninja village of its kind. The other villages that followed would use the same naming pattern - for example, there's Kirigakure, also known as the Village Hidden In The Mist.
Where did the name come from? Madara Uchiha, one of the village's founding fathers. Though Madara's views on how to run the village would clash dramatically with the other founders', so much so that Hashirama would eventually have to fight him, his legacy lived on in the village's name.
