Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Loud and obnoxious slow paced beeps echoed into ear.

A monstrous purple haze swallowed the shattered canyons but this haze instead of stopping an endless nightmare only furthered it with the transparency of it all. Chills fettered this decayed land as if it were being weighed by the heavens.

The beeps sped up and became louder, footsteps were charging toward this position but...

This boundless decay seemed inevitable, destruction of this world mirrored a lock it just wouldn't open... The moon's light shined brightly despite this haze, it's semi blue rays clicked the answers into form. The fog had quickly retreated, no longer would this sight occur with the answers in hand, as gratitude showed it's face so did the blood moon with a smile of daggers and eyes of nightmarish intent seething with hatred.

Every 10th of a second came another beep. From the dark bosom a heart violently pulsated and throbbed as it split apart. Fire began enveloping the atmosphere morphing it all a dark crimson color as breathing became less steady, especially with the boiling of sweat strangling lung capacity. Blood pooled out the temple splashing and oozing down onto what felt to be a morphing brick. Somehow darkness was more prominent than before and the only light came from a narrow hole almost peering or... Glaring. The light began to blink quickly, leaving a hundred after-images a second like thunderous flashes piercing into soulless eyes. Cranial flesh spun and jotted from every point in this cave from left to down, right to left and down to up- "Don't bother waking up. You can't win. You can't save u-" Lightning flashed among a yellow tinted window, in the brief illumination a ghoul's face had stared before becoming consumed by nothing once more.
