"Must you destroy the chemistry between them? What the heck is wrong with you, Lewis?" Grandma glared at her husband, who had been squirming in his seat, ready to charge at Leila and Jayden if not for her holding him back.
"They are still too young. I mean, Leila is only 18!" Grandpa cried out.
Grandma rolled her eyes. "And Jayden is seventeen."
Grandpa became tongue-tied at her sharp retort, but he knew they weren't going to stop arguing about this. His wife wouldn't give in to the idea, so he could only turn his attention to his son-in-law and try to manipulate him.
After all, he has a daughter complex, just like he has a granddaughter complex.
