Chapter 69 - Immature

Eve's face drained of color at his last words, and she immediately looked around to see if anyone was coming. Fortunately for her, since it was in a high-end area, people usually took their cars home and didn't walk.

Somehow, she felt a bit scared, wondering who had allowed a dirtbag like Rob to get in. Someone was definitely messing with her.

But she knew Rob very well. Given his current situation, he wouldn't hesitate to sell her out. And yeah, she didn't doubt that he had evidence of her past in his hands—getting it revealed would ruin her and whatever plans she had in store.

Her eyes flashed with malice as she eyed him, thinking it was probably time to get rid of him. She hadn't bothered with him all these years; in fact, she'd thought he was dead until recently when he reappeared before her.

Anyway, it wasn't her fault.
