As soon as Eve disappeared, a dark chuckle that sent chills down one's spine escaped Charli's lips. She entered back into her treatment room, meeting Aria's gaze and she said softly. "I finally remembered who she is..."
"Who?" Aria's curiosity was piqued. After all, her friend had been talking about how familiar Eve looked, and she too also found her familiar. Except she couldn't remember where.
"She's Eva, that daughter of a distant relative whose parents died and she came to live with my Aunt, Gloria."
Aria's eyes slowly widened, her heart racing and tightening as she shook her head. "You mean she's that b*tch who took Gloria's money and stole her husband?!" Her voice rose at the end before she keyed her first into her palm.
"Damn it! I remember her now. To think she would look like this after growing up." She shook her head faintly. "No wonder you found her familiar. I actually thought that wench of a woman had left the country!"
