The DNA result came during the evening of the third day. Maverick was with Grandpa Bright and Martin when he received the call. The trio drove directly to the hospital to collect it.
Maverick wasn't too anxious to open the results since he already knew the answer, but his hesitation made Grandpa nervous enough to snatch the envelope from him.
With shaking hand, he pried open the envelope and went through the content, and then, a bright smile broke out on Grandpa's face. "Hahaha! Our Bright family has another descendant! Hahahah, I couldn't be anymore blessed!"
Martin and Maverick sighed with relief as their eyes landed on the test results. Only God knew how nervous they had been over the last three days, especially Grandpa and Martin. Grandpa was the most anxious about it as he couldn't even eat properly without thinking about what will happened if that young man wasn't theirs!
