Eve regretted not just putting some poison in Leila's drink, or hire killers to just end her life when she had been living alone.

"Leila?"
"Leila?"
Leila snapped back to reality as Jayden nudged her. There was a hint of concern in his blue eyes, which silently questioned why she had spaced out.
However, the answer to such a question was something she couldn't divulge. She feared he wouldn't believe her, or worse, think she had lost her mind if she told him she was remembering her past life.
She met his gaze, and her clear eyes softened with warmth. 'I'll tell you later, Jayden. And I hope you will believe me then.'
She nodded at him, smiling. "Well, I didn't know that Eve would be so popular by now, her face is pasted every well, hehe~ I swear her daughter hasn't even gone this viral."
Jayden's eyes darkened slightly, his eyelashes fluttering as he search her eyes for a reveal but find nothing.
