"Is your hand okay?" Jayden asked softly, taking Leila's hand in his as he gently inspected her palm. "You shouldn't have used your hand. You could've just asked the bodyguards to handle it for you."
Leila rubbed her red palm and shook her head. "It only hurts a little, nothing serious."

With that, they dragged the immobile Eve away.
Even still, Jayden blew on Leila's palm, thinking he should have slapped Eve himself. That way, Leila wouldn't have hurt her hand.
Leila smiled, finding him cuter by the second. She couldn't resist ruffling his hair. "It doesn't hurt anymore since you blew on it."
Jayden finally relented after her reassurance. As soon as they entered the grand living room, Aditi jumped up, her eyes twinkling with excitement as she looked between them.
