Eyes Don't Lie
Flora could see the love in Jayden's eyes when he looks at Leila and her heart clenched with pain.
"What's happening with you?" Her mother eyed her, her expression brimming with worry as she noticed Flora's clenched hand and red eyes.
Flora hated people seeing her weak so she shook her head, ran a finger through her hair and suddenly, she couldn't help but chuckle as she found herself laughable.
"Nothing." She replied her mother.
"Are you sure?" Mrs. Ace asked, her gaze filled with suspicion. It was rarer to see her daughter laugh than to see snow in the desert.
Flora blinked, her eyes filled with madness that went perfectly unnoticed by her mother as she nodded lightly. "Of course, what could be wrong with me?"
Saying that, she averted her gaze, her eyes fixated on Jayden again. Probably feeling her long stare, Jayden glanced up to meet her gaze.
