Lin Chu was nice enough to remove his sword before it scratched my chin.
I landed on my feet and recalled my flying sword. Lin Chu descended next to me a moment later, sheathing his weapon.
It was still hard to believe after everything that he stopped the fight, but I didn't let my shock show. Instead, I stayed ready for a sudden attack.
"You are lucky that there's still something I need you alive for, Disciple. Otherwise, I would've tested which of us is faster after all. As it is… I still have something to teach you."
"Oh? You need me, Master?" I huffed. "And here I thought you will admit to caring for me like a good teacher cares for his students."
Lin Chu gave me a freezing glare.
Yeah, I almost forgot for a moment whom I was talking with.
"Cease this, Yujin, before I settle for your head, after all. My offer might be the last chance for you to stay alive."
I grew more serious.
"What do you mean, Master?"
