I was standing in a tastefully decorated observation hall of my void vessel and looking at a lifelike illusory image of a planet, which was created by a massive Mirage Mirror below it. Bountiful Harvest Star, it was called—what an irony.
Unlike an average Mirage Mirror from a mediocre smith, this one was hand-crafted by me. It not only had many times more range and detail, it also showed Qi in color and detail.
The Qi of Bountiful Harvest Star looked like a rotten apple that was being eaten by worms and entwined in pale tree roots. With the detail provided by my Mirage Mirror, I could see that the "roots" were actually composed from thousands of tiny oval void vessels. Our own void vessel was a distance away from them, hidden from sight by one-sided sub-space.
In front of me was a harvest indeed—but not for the humans that were dying here. Billions of them! An entire planet. Such a tragedy…
