Chapter 34 - Supply Run

"So, you want to go with me and Clarke?" Damon asked Raven who had been cooped up inside the dropship since they had got to earth.

"Are you kidding me heck yeah!" Raven stood up and grabbed her bag and her sword.

"Nice, let's go. Clarke is grabbing us some food and snacks for the trip." He and Raven left the dropship before going and meeting up with Clarke.

They had decided to travel over to the bunker where the blankets were along with the guns and ammo. There should also be some other stuff like first aid kids and other supplies.

"Ready to go Clarke?" Damon asked Clarke who was stuffing a bag full of nuts and berries.

"Yeah." She said and they told Bellamy of their leaving before they walked out of camp and past one of Miller's scout teams.

"So how was it." Clarke heard Raven whisper into her ear.

"How was what?" Clarke asked confused about what Raven was whispering about.

"You know." Raven nodded toward Damon who was a few meters in front of them and scanning the area as they walked through the forest.

"Really Raven? What are you, thirteen?" Clarke said with a roll of her eyes.

"Come on you can't hog that juicy man to yourself, share." Raven raised her eyebrows at Clarke making her eye twitch.

"It was really good okay, now forget it. I think Murphy is rubbing off on you." Clarke said

"Oh, Really good huh?" Raven smirked at Clarke who started speeding up to get away from Raven.

"Hey wait up!" Raven ran after her and they were talking and whispering and giggling the entire trip while Damon just tried to ignore everything not wanting to get involved in girl stuff, he knew he would regret it.

Finally, a few hours later they had gotten to the coordinates that Marcus had given them for the bunker.

"Alright, it should be around here somewhere. Search around until we find it." Damon said and they all split up looking for it.

A few minutes later they heard Raven call out.

"Found it! But it's heavy." Raven said while trying to yank open the metal hatch.

"It's probably stuck. Here let me help." Damon said and grabbed part of the hatch handle.

He pulled making his arms flex and the veins on his arms popped out before finally he felt the hatch door budge and he pushed it fully open.

"Flashlight," Damon said, and Clarke handed him a flashlight before he put his body into the opening and started climbing down the ladder.

He then heard Raven and Clarke following him before he felt himself touch the ground.

"Careful, can't see hardly at all in here," Damon said while grabbing Raven's waist and helping her down the ladder before doing the same with Clarke.

Then they also turned on their own flashlights and started flashing them around the bunker.

Damon saw some racks with black boxes on them and walked over before opening one of them and finding some glow sticks.

Wanting to find out if they worked, he grabbed a few and cracked them and they glowed a bright orange.

"Found some glowsticks over here," Damon said before tossing one to Clarke who was checking out another rack before looking over at Raven who traveled toward some black barrels.

"Hehehe!" A weird screechy laugh sounded out along with the scream of Raven making Damon's heartbeat faster as he looked over Raven's head and saw an ugly looking creature jump out from behind the black barrels and charge at Raven.

"Raven get down!" Damon yelled before doing a spin and throwing his dagger through the air.

His dagger flew through the air with speed and precision hitting the ugly creature directly in the eye and making it drop to the floor and slide a few feet before stopping in front of Raven who had already ducked down to doge his dagger.

"What the hell is that!" Clarke said with her dagger also already drawn.

They walked over to Raven and made sure she was okay before getting a closer look at the monstrosity of a person.

"A mutant," Damon said while looking at the bald-headed human whose skin drooped down and even his eyes couldn't be seen as the saggy skin completely covered them.

Its mouth was missing all of its teeth, and the thing's gums were red and puffy.

Its head was in the shape of a deformed square and both of its hands were more like claws than actual hands.

"How can a human even become this?" Raven said with disgust.

"A fuck ton of radiation and something else," Damon said before they scanned the entire rest of the bunker and made sure it was clear before they went back to looting the place.

"Found the blankets," Clarke said and showed off a whole tub of orange thick blankets.

"Good, grab the med kit and the blankets, we will come back for the barrels of guns and ammunition another time," Damon said and they agreed as there was no way three people were going to be able to carry all of the supplies left inside back to camp.

"Let's get out of here." Damon let Raven and Clarke go first before he grabbed a few tubs and then climbed the ladder before handing them up and then doing it again before finally all of the tubs had been transferred up.

"Let's go," Damon said as they each had two tubs in their hands and headed back to camp before nightfall arrived.

Walking through the forest they ran into an area of the forest that glowed blue making all three of them stop and enjoy the view for a bit before finally reaching camp.

They went and stored all of the supplies as they wouldn't need the blankets for another week until it got really cold and sleeping in tents became uncomfortable.

Every one of the 100 had been trained to get used to the cold but they couldn't take the chances of their people getting sick when they needed every man and woman they had right now.
