Chapter 13 - ELL

We alighted near my building, I wanted us to check in the supermarket beside our building before going to the house. I had restocked everything the day before but wanted her to have whatever she wanted; she was my guest, and I wouldn't spare a thing. Taking the cart by the door, we navigated the aisles. The first stop was at the ice cream aisle; she picked blueberry, a heavy palate. I add a chocolate container, vanilla, and strawberry. I had another container of vanilla back in the house

Next were the drinks on the AC shelves and fridges. We picked up the yogurts with tiny fruits inside and more soft drinks. Then we went to the liquor aisle, where she picked up whiskey and two bottles of white and red. On our way out, we added a bunch of snacks.

Once we were out, "And the fun continues."

Clearing my throat, "I am sorry you have to go up the stairs," I know how steep they are.

"Or you could carry me," she says, her hand moving and down on me.

"Let's do some exercise." Adjusting the bags in my hands, I lead the way up.

"I will definitely sweat," she whines behind me.

"There is water and soap and an air conditioner; you will be alright."

She chuckles.

Four flights up, we arrive at my door. Getting the keys out, I fumble with them as I try to open the door; she takes them from my hands gently and opens the door. Holding it wide open, she says; "Welcome to my humble abode." She is funny, a chuckle escapes me as I follow her inside, locking the door behind me. I like her.

"Your house is too clean for a man."

"Thanks," I say from the kitchen island counter, busy with the bags as she, gives herself a tour around the house.

"Are you dating?"

A straight shooter; this works for my ego, you know what you get immediately on the go. I am loving this

"What if I'm dating."

"No! you are not dating, this is a clean man," she says with certainty she turns smiling like she has won bingo.

"I love your spot."

"Thanks."

"Your house exudes a masculine vibe... It suits you."

Looking around, maybe I could see through her eyes; my house is a modern bachelor pad, full of earthly colors and modern artistic decor; It reflects my personality and individuality, which is quite exceptional with a sense of sophistication and style. There is nothing special about it apart from the living room, which is decked out with a big screen TV; perfect for watching sports and movies with friends and family; if my cousins drop by and annoying siblings.

"Can I look around?"

"Permission granted."

"I wasn't asking for one, the moment you invited me, I took the liberty of including everything in."

A teaser, a smile draws itself out, and I put my skills as a barista and barman to use.

"Didn't take you as a book's person; books define the kind of person you are."

"And that is?"

"You are thoughtful if you can take your time with a book."

She walks out to the balcony.

"I love your balcony! …The view, my, my, my the view!"

"Thanks"

"You have healthy plants."

"I try."

Making us an array of different glasses and extras, placing everything on a tray, and a platter full of snacks, I lay the table. I play soothing music; some soft classic jazz. I take two glasses and head out to join her. She takes the glasses, and we click them together, sipping from the glasses she takes in the view as I check on the plants. The sun was still up, we couldn't sit outside. We go back inside and we settle down on the plush sofa.

"Feel at home," I say.

"Thanks, it does feel like it."

"A place where I can unwind and forget about life for a while."

She clears her first glass and picks the one with ice cream with whiskey in it. She has a sweet tooth.

Time seemed to stand still as we basked in the comfort of each other's company, she was hilarious and someone I could never get bored with. I came to learn so much about her, discovering layers of complexity that intrigued me and only served to deepen my fascination. As I delved deeper into her world; she was witty, she painted a vivid picture of her personality, one that I found endlessly captivating; she fascinates me.

Reveling in the ease of each other's presence. Her straightforward nature was refreshing, a quality that brought honesty and authenticity to our interactions. Through the way she carried herself through our conversations, I unraveled the threads of her experiences, learning about the paths she had walked and the dreams she held close to her heart.

She was more than just hilarious and flirtatious; she was a mosaic of stories, and passions that drew me in, leaving me eager to learn more about the person behind the laughter. She was fun to be with because she fascinated me in ways I couldn't quite explain.

We had gone through most of the glasses, and we were having seconds for some. The music tempo sped up, and that promoted Ell to stand up, dancing funnily to the music; I had to join her. We seem to be in sync, she is infectious, and I had found my soulmate, kindred spirit, a partner in crime, and a friend at last.

Dancing together, we fell into an embrace. That led to kisses—hungerful kisses that were burning and consuming us like fire. I am not sure who initiated the kiss, but she reciprocated with the same ferocity. I had to stop just to confirm she was up for this as we came up for air.

She smiled, and that was what I needed. "Bedroom," she mouths as her lips descend on mine. Lifting her up, her legs wrap around my waist. I couldn't control my ragging hormones, I needed to pour my seed into her. Make love to her until she forgets whoever is in the picture. I want to make her feel wanted, make some slow, sensual love to her, and fuck her brains out.
