Main Event
The long awaited event was finally here and I couldn't help myself. I was a bundle of nerves. I was anxious and hoping for nothing to go wrong. It has been a long time coming and couldn't wait to see it through. This was a chapter I was closing and I was ready to usher in the new one.
This is what gave me breathe when my life was turned upside down. It gave me something to focus on and see through. I was broken but clutching onto this, I became myself again. It gave me sanity. I have already cried and said goodbye, I was ready to be free again and revisit life.
Most of the people I had invited came, my family, friends, people I have worked with, and Rahim, basically everyone who mattered. The hotel was spacious and it was more than we needed. Their service was impeccable and I guess everyone was happy because I was. After the ups and downs and almost missing a hall, this was better and I was glad about it.
