I had opened a can of worms. The party was long done and we all gathered in the kitchen for a light supper and some drinks, a recap, of what has happened during the day. I knew I was the topic of interest and they wanted nothing more than interrogate me of everything. I was dreading this but I was going to come out clean and tell them how I feel, if this is another mistake I was making so be it.
I am a grown up and I take responsibilities of everything I do. At least this time I'm entering a relationship with both eyes open and I know my worth, if it is not what I want, I was going to leave. But now, this man claims to love me and he shows me that. I was going to give it a little time to fester but after today's turn of events I had to come clean to my folks and myself, and I couldn't hide my feelings anymore.
