After momentarily admiring the cherry blossom tree, Sora and Ayame parted ways and went to each other's class. Usually, the time seemed to pass so quickly for Sora, like a blur. But today, each second felt like an eternity on its own. So, he decided to try and focus on his class.
Sora tends to just ignore the class, and study on his own at home, which has helped him keep an average score. Currently, it is math class, after this, it will be lunchtime, which he is waiting for so desperately.
'Hm…. I wonder what she made…." knowing damn well, whatever it is, he will devour it with pleasure. He won't admit it, but he has gotten tired of his cooking, and the usual cafeteria bread.
'Wait, that reminds me, where are we supposed to meet?' Sora, like always, forgot to ask, 'Well, fuck…. I guess I'll just go to the library…. Yeah, that should work.'
After trying to cope with his forgetfulness, he continued fidgeting in his seat, stealing glances at the clock, 'This clock be damned, agh!' He internally punched the clock.
After a couple of more minutes of cussing out the clock's whole bloodline, the sweet sound of the bell ringing reached his ear, making him grin unnaturally. Thankfully, he composed himself before anyone noticed. He quickly put his books in his bag and went towards the class entrance. He was going to the library as he had planned, but before he could get out of the class, he saw Ayame standing there holding two bentos, seemingly waiting for him.
A beautiful smile bloomed on her face, seeing him. Sora seemed confused, 'How did she get here so fast?!?!'
"Why are looking at me like you have seen a ghost?" Ayame teasingly inquired. Sora, hearing that, managed to compose himself, "*Cough* N-nothing, just wondering how you got here so fast."
"Oh? Ehehehe~" Ayame answered with a mischievous chuckle.
Sora decided to put that thought aside. Soon realizing, everyone in the class was looking at them, and gossiping. He felt uncomfortable being the center of attention.
Ayame, sensing Sora's discomfort, glared at the class threateningly. Everyone in the class felt a chill down their spine, and soon, the class went silent.
Sora found this sudden change a bit odd, but decided to ignore it, "Let's go Ayame-san,"
Ayame nodded in agreement.
Sora let her take the lead, not knowing a good place for both of them to eat peacefully. He directed his gaze at the bentos. Which Ayame noticed with delight.
—
They soon reached the school rooftop, 'I feel like I am in a school romance novel,' Sora internally chuckled
(A/N: Cough)
"Let's sit there, Sora-kun," Ayame pointed at a place, "Yeah, sure."
Both of them quickly sat down, and Ayame gave Sora one of the bentos. Sora's eyes sparkled, and an excited smile could be seen on his lips, "T-thank you, Ayame-san!" he said happily.
"You're welcome~" Ayame replied with delight, though she was a bit nervous. She had "researched" about his likings, but will he like the taste? The appearance? Questions started filling her head.
Sora slowly opened it, and instantly, his eyes widened with a gaping jaw. Seeing that Ayame's heart rate skyrocketed, if she was nervous before, currently she was scared. Not being able to tell if this reaction was supposed to be good or not.
She had confidence in her cooking. Before meeting Sora she never even went to the kitchen. But after meeting him, she slowly started learning. She appointed one of the best chefs in the country to teach her.
Even then, all her confidence wasn't keeping her from getting scared, 'Eeee!! No use getting scared! I must ask him first,' she decided, "Everything alright, S-Sora-kun?"
Sora managed to compose himself after hearing Ayame, "*cough* Y-yeah! Everything is fine," Ayame added in anticipation, "Everything to your liking…?"
—
"Honestly…." staring at the food I continued, "That would be an understatement…"
I had high expectations, but this bento has surpassed even that. Probably the most extravagant one I have ever laid my eyes upon. It contains Tonkatsu, expensive-looking sushi, lobster rolls, and everything topped off with Tamagoyaki. Everything was organized perfectly. I could feel my mouth almost watering…. *cough*
[Tonkatsu is a Japanese dish that consists of a breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet. It involves coating slices of pork with panko (bread crumbs), and then frying them in oil.
Tamagoyaki is a Japanese dish that is made by rolling together multiple layers of fried beaten eggs.]
"Ayame-san….. Don't you think…. This is a bit too much? I mean, I appreciate this a lot, but took tons of effort," I never had this much amazing food cooked for me, is this really okay?
Ayame-san hearing that, for some reason got happy, "No, Sora-kun. This isn't too much or anything. I did it because I wanted to. I insist you eat it. Nothing would make me more happy than you enjoying my cooking, So… In a way, this is my selfish desire, " Hearing that…. I don't even know how to describe my emotions….
All I can say is, "Thanks…. Ayame," I gently called her without any honorifics. Her eyes widened in surprise, and soon she started blushing.
"Y-y-you're w-welcome," she whispered.

"Thanks…. Ayame," he said with such warmth, that it sent shivers down my very being.
I was barely holding back jumping in happiness, Sora-kun called me without Honorifics! Just my first name!
She kind of felt her nether region going damp, but she would never admit that!
The plan of capturing his stomach seemed to be working. He was finally starting to get comfortable with me.
I noticed his eyes were moist while he looked at me. Truthfully, I wanted to pat his head, but refrained, barely, 'Agh! I want to pat his head so bad! He looked so cute while saying my name!'
But I can't rush this. I have to take this slowly, I might have been his friend for almost a year, but the progress was still slow. After confessing to him, the progress has increased a lot! However, I still need to be very mindful. He is sensitive, I must take every step carefully.
I am sure this will pay off in the future. He will love me, only me. He doesn't need anything or anyone other than me, his only pillar of support. He will completely be hers. Physically, and mentally.

While Sora was happily devouring the meal, Ayame made for him. He failed to notice Ayame's creepily grinning at him, her eyes filled with ever-growing obsession. He was slowly but surely getting caught in her web, that she called love.
