In a world filled with magic, swords, and monsters, many unique professions exist, such as alchemists, swordsmen, magicians, and florists. One day, a man named Rowan wakes up holding a flower in a place he's never been before. "Where am I? Who am I? Why am I here?" he wonders. Looking at his clothes, he sees the name "Rowan" sewn onto his shirt. "So, my name is Rowan, but why am I here?" he questions.
Rowan then notices the flower in his hand, which triggers a fragment of his memory. In that memory, he meets a strange girl who tells him, "Rowan, seek and gather all the flowers and plants around the world to uncover your past." As the memory fades, Rowan finds tears streaming down his face. "Where should I start?" he asks himself.
He spots a town named "Lilybrook" in the distance. As he walks towards it, he marvels at its natural beauty. "This town is beautiful," he says. Lilybrook is renowned for its abundance of lilies. Upon arriving, Rowan meets a man named Hap. "What is this place called?" Rowan asks. Hap looks at him strangely and replies, "You don't know the name of this town?"
"No, I really don't," Rowan admits. Hap tells him, "This is Lilybrook." At this, Rowan's head starts to ache. "Can you tell me more about this town?" he asks. Hap, still looking at him oddly, agrees. "Sure, young man... Lilybrook was once just a village filled with lilies. There was a magical lily so powerful that it attracted a monster, who took it and hid it in a dungeon now known as 'Dungeon Overworld.'"
Rowan asks, "Did the villagers ever recover the magical lily?" Hap replies, "Despite all their efforts, they failed to retrieve it because the monster in the dungeon was too strong." Rowan, his headache worsening, asks, "So how did the village become a town?" Hap, noticing Rowan's pain, suggests, "You seem unwell. Maybe we should continue this story after you've rested."
But Rowan insists, "NO! I want to hear the whole story!" Surprised, Hap continues, "With the help of the King of Verdantia and Baron Thaddeus Fern, they rebuilt the village and made it thrive after the monster took the magical lily." As Hap speaks, Rowan collapses, muttering, "L-l-lily..." before losing consciousness.
In his dream, Rowan remembers fighting a monstrous creature named Komodrake and telling a girl to run. "LILY, RUN! GET OUT OF HERE!" he shouts. Lily escapes but is ambushed by Komodrake outside. Rowan wakes up screaming, "NO! LILY!!" Hap, startled, asks, "A nightmare?" Rowan, tears streaming down his face, silently questions himself, "Who is Lily? Why am I crying? Where was I? And why was I fighting that monster?"
Hap throws a potato at him to get his attention. "Hey, are you hungry?" Hap asks. Rowan, shocked, finally notices Hap. "Where am I?" he asks. Hap replies, "You just noticed I'm here? You're in my house because you fainted after hearing my story about this town."
Rowan apologizes, "I'm sorry for causing trouble..." Hap responds, "It's fine... but remember, you owe me a favor." Rowan, confused, asks, "A favor... for what?" Hap, with a mischievous grin, laughs maniacally, "HehehHEHAHAHA!"
Terrified, Rowan asks, "W-what kind of work?" Hap stops laughing and explains, "Just some labor work... but what's your name? You haven't told me yet." Rowan stammers, "L-labor?" Hap confirms, "YES, LABOR! WHAT'S YOUR NAME?!" Spitting as he speaks. Rowan responds, "R-ro-ROWAN, SIR!" Hap laughs, "HA! Good, my name is Hap, people call me Hap the Laborer." Rowan can't help but laugh, "H-Hap the L-laborer HAHAHA!" Veins bulge on Hap's forehead as he knocks Rowan on the head, "OUUU YOU LAUGH, just wait until tomorrow."
Rowan, resigned, thinks to himself, 'I'm doomed...' Hap announces, "LET'S EAT!" Rowan replies, "ALRIGHT!"
In the evening
Rowan thought before going to bed, 'Who is the real me and who lily in my memorys? What do I need to do to know my past...' Rowan fell asleep and had a dream and saw a beautiful woman, the woman said 'O Rowan look for all the flowers in this world' Rowan thought 'this is the verse that i hear this morning' then rowan said to the beautiful woman "OI WHY DO I NEED TO FIND ALL THE FLOWERS WHY!??" the beautiful woman said "you will know later, O rowan-" suddenly the face of hap appeared in the dream and said "Rowan woke up ROWAN, ITS ALREADY MORNING!" rowan was shocked then screamed "AAHHH UGLY OLD MAN!!" .
Hap knocks on rowan's head which causes rowan to fall back then rowan says "OI why did you knock me" with his face dissatisfied. Then Hap said "HAHAHA it's been a long time since I heard anyone criticize me .....but don't you dare to say it again" with his face making a wicked smile. Then rowan said "*gulp*f-fi-fine" after that they ate the breakfast that had been made by Hap and then they went walking and Rowan from afar saw the adventures holding weapons and wearing iron shields, Rowan saw many injured and Rowan asked hap, "Who are they? And why are they in such a bad condition?" Then Hap said "They are called dungeon travelers and are also known as Monster hunters" "What is their job?" asked Rowan, "Their job is to hunt and kill the wandering giants and some of them explore the dungeon to restore the magical lilies, but apparently they failed" replied Hap.
Then rowan thought 'should I be a traveler and a hunter' hap said "OI, what else do you see, you still don't deserve to be like them because you still haven't done my work- I mean your work that I will give" Rowan looked at Hap suspicously and said "your wor-" then Hap interrupted the word rowan and said "aahhh nope, nope, this is our work " said hap, Rowan with His sour face said, "Well.... can I be like them?" then the HAP said "maybe... but on condition that you must defeat me first and before that, let's prepare this work HAHAHAHA" rowan with a languid face said "hahaha..... alright".
As they were doing work, rowan saw a giant that looked like a tiger, Tigrothan, approaching Hap and rowan screamed, "HAP!! KEEP GUARD, BEHIND YOU THERE IS A MONSTER" Then Rowan quickly ran to Hap carrying an iron shovel to help Hap, but Hap quickly grabbed the shovel and swiftly slashes the Tigorthan head, then Rowan was surprised to see Hap and asked, "Who are you... HAP?"
