When Jordan spoke those words, Stephanie looked at him with disbelief etched across her face.
After a moment, she inhaled sharply and exclaimed, "What exactly are you saying, bro? The doctor has been absolutely insistent that you need to take it easy and rest, but now you're contemplating going out? Have you really considered what this means for your health?"
"And what about that, Stephanie?"
"Oh my goodness, Jordan, you can't seriously act as if you have some newfound strength or anything like that. Remember, it was Samantha who was looking after you before, and she will undoubtedly continue to do so," Stephanie remarked.
However, Samantha's eyes widened in disbelief when she heard her name mentioned so unexpectedly.
There was absolutely no chance she intended to look after Jordan as if he were a child and she was his nanny.
