"You can stop mumbling, Stephanie. There is no scar on your wrist, and do not blame Mary." Mrs. Nicholas acknowledged Mary's words as she walked towards Stephanie.
"You know what, mother. That was very demanding."
"But I did it regardless; is there anything you can do?" Mrs. Nicholas smirked at Stephanie, and Stephanie clicked her tongue in frustration.
"Whatever," Stephanie mumbled.
"Okay, dear. There is no need for you to enter that room. Jordan is very busy, as you have seen."
"Be serious, mum. You are telling me Jordan is involved with that woman in there?"
"Yeah. You saw it for yourself," Mrs. Nicholas said casually.
"Mum, when did Jordan begin to make time for Sydney? Besides, what is Sydney doing in our home?"
Mrs. Nicholas frowned as Stephanie finished her statement.
"So, how do you know Sydney?" Mrs. Nicholas asked out of curiosity.
