Kalina, Mireille, and Logan arrive at the meeting room early, twenty minutes before the scheduled start time.
As they enter, they're greeted by an empty room, except for Logan's assistant, Rachel, who's already seated and typing away on her laptop.
"Good morning," Rachel says, looking up with a smile. "I see you're all early birds today."
Next, Mireille's assistant, Gabriella, walks in, carrying a large binder and a cup of coffee. "Good morning, everyone," she says, setting her things down at the table. "I've got all the latest sales figures and marketing reports for our discussion today."
As they enter the meeting room, Kalina's grumpiness is replaced with a mask of professionalism.
She takes her seat at the table, her eyes fixed on the agenda in front of her. Mireille takes a seat to her right, followed by Logan, with their assistants sitting across from them.
Mr. Lee, the CEO of Ravel, walks in next, followed by his assistant, Alex. "Good morning, everyone," Mr. Lee says, his voice booming across the room. He takes a seat to the right of Logan, with Alex sitting across from him.
Mr. Cassius, the CEO of Lone, enters next, his assistant, Jackson, trailing behind him. "Morning, all," Mr. Cassius says, his deep voice rumbling. He takes a seat to the right of Mr. Lee, with Jackson sitting across from him.
Finally, Ophelia, the CEO of Art by Lia, bursts in, her assistant, Julia, struggling to keep up behind her. "Sorry I'm late, everyone!" Ophelia exclaims. "I was, uh, stuck in a elevator... with a chicken." She takes her seat at the end of the table, to the right of Mr. Cassius, with Julia sitting across from her.
Mireille fake-coughs, trying to stifle a laugh, while Kalina raises an eyebrow, looking at Ophelia with a "really?" expression.
Ophelia pouts in response, Kalina raises an eyebrow, but says nothing, her expression stern.
The meeting is now ready to begin, with all 11 people present and accounted for.
Rachel closes her laptop and turns her attention to the trio. "Well, let's get started then, shall we go over the agenda for today's meeting?"
Kalina nods, her eyes scanning the document. "Yes, let's get started. I want to make sure we cover everything we need to."
Mireille pulls out her notes and begins to review them, while Logan takes a sip of his coffee, his eyes fixed on Rachel.
Rachel smiles and begins to outline the agenda. "First item: sales reports. Miss Gabriella, can you walk us through the latest numbers?"
Gabriella nods and begins to present the sales figures, using visual aids to illustrate the trends. The room falls silent as everyone focuses on the presentation.
Next, Rachel moves on to the marketing reports. "Mr Logan, can you share your thoughts on the recent campaign?"
Logan sets his coffee down and launches into a detailed analysis of the campaign's success, using data to support his points.
As the meeting progresses, each CEO takes turns presenting their reports and discussing their respective companies' performance.
Mr. Lee shares updates on Ravel's logistics operations, while Mr. Cassius discusses Lone's construction projects.
Ophelia presents a passionate overview of Art by Lia's latest art exhibits and educational programs.
Throughout the meeting, Kalina listens intently, her expression stern but engaged. She asks pointed questions and requests clarification on certain points, demonstrating her sharp business acumen.
As the meeting nears its conclusion, Rachel summarizes the key takeaways and action items. "Next steps: we need to finalize the marketing strategy for the upcoming quarter and review the sales projections for each company. Let's schedule a follow-up meeting in two weeks to discuss progress."
The meeting adjourns, and the CEOs begin to file out of the room, chatting and exchanging pleasantries. Kalina's eyes fix on Ophelia, her gaze piercing. "Ophelia, can I see you for a moment?"
Ophelia hesitates, feeling a sense of trepidation. "Uh, sure, Kalina."
Kalina's expression remains stern. "Let's meet up for lunch at 12. I'll message you the location."
Ophelia wants to refuse, but Kalina's stern expression makes her hesitate. She thinks something must have happened or she must have offended her sister somehow. "Okay, sure...I'll be there."
Kalina nods, her eyes never leaving Ophelia's face. "Good. I'll see you then."
