Chereads / Mysterious Wolf / Chapter 7 - Isla, Fool

Chapter 7 - Isla, Fool

Isla smiled lightly and said, "No one."

Kate looked at the black car that was going away with confusion, "Isn't that the car that just sent you here?"

She thought the person in the car was one of their friends, but now it seemed that it was not the case.

Isla changed the subject at the right time, "Who will pick us up?"

"Kevin, he happens to be nearby."

***

A group of rich children who were born with a silver spoon in their mouths gathered in the most luxurious club in Hong Kong City.

These people had always been fond of having fun, and they also know about Isla's affairs, so they all tacitly agree not to mention it in front of her.

"Isla, I have ordered a ten-layer cake for you. You are not allowed to leave until you finish it tonight."

Isla sat in the corner, leaning mostly on the armrest of the sofa. Her waistline was tight and slender, "Go away." Kevin put his arms on his knees and bent down in front of Isla, "Don't be unhappy, Isla, I'll sing to you."

Isla raised her eyes, her eyes were charming in just the right way, "You can kill me directly, but you still have to sing to me." Cause everyone around to laugh.

Kevin grinded his teeth and laughed angrily, "You are unhappy because of my bro. I am trying my best to make you happy, but your conscience has been eaten by dogs."

They were the ones who can withdraw from love at any time, how they can be like her who was trapped by love and loses herself. What a fool.

Isla looked at him for a few times, then raised her hand lazily, "Forget it, you guys can play. I'm sleepy, so I'll take a nap."

"Fine."

Isla liked to find a quiet corner in the hustle and bustle, which made her felt at ease. She actually fell asleep while lying on her stomach. Until she was called up to blow out birthday candles, twenty of them were inserted on the ten-layer cake.

One glass after another of low-alcohol red wine, and finally she was probably really drunk, lying on the sofa and calling Mark's name all the time.

Kevin was inexplicably annoyed, "Really call my bro here?"

Kate pushed him aside and said, "Your eldest brother is having a heated relationship with another woman. What do you ask him to do? It's bad luck."

Kevin straightened his collar. He always wanted to look good, "I'm not him, so don't vent your anger on me."

Kate lifted one of Isla's arms and said, "Come here and give me a hand. I'll take Isla home."

Kevin was doubtful, "Can you do it?"

Kate sneered, "Isn't he better than you?"

A voice interrupted, the gentle voice said, "It's better to give Mark a call. Isla hopes he will come, right?" The atmosphere calmed down for a few seconds.

Kate actually admired him for being both loving and tolerant. She kicked Kevin's leg and said, "I haven't contacted your brother yet."

The call was made, but it didn't go through. The second call was answered by a woman, and Kevin started scolding her until she hung up the phone.

Mark stretched out his sleeves and stood up slowly, "You guys play, and I'll take Isla back."

Isla was put in the car by Kevin, and she murmured half asleep, "Mark, Mark."

"Isla, fool." He sighed slightly helplessly. Mark closed the car door and drove her back to house. He did not notice a mysterious car following him.

Until mysterious wolf saw Kevin's car leaving her, Cullinan, who was hiding in the dark, lowered the window, and the wind filled the car with frost and dew.

Mysterious alone wolf Axel Ash was sitting in the car, his lighter lit up with faint blue flames, and in the illuminated sky and earth, wisps of green smoke and white mist rose. His wolf was a bit satisfied. The only fire went out, and the overwhelming darkness drowned him, trapping him in it.

***

Outside the window, the clouds were very low, and the fallen leaves were swirling with the cold wind, rising and falling to the window.

Isla poked the screen of her phone hard with her finger, [Mark, remember to bring a bouquet of roses]

Clicking send, she put down her phone and went to wash up, then went downstairs to have breakfast with her parents. Her hair was tied into a loose bun, with a few strands of hair hanging down by her cheeks, looking casual and lazy.

"Isla." Mr Miller is tough on the outside but delicate and gentle on the inside. The look in her eyes was full of love, "How come it was Kevin who sent you back last night?"

Isla wore no makeup and her face was full of collagen. She blinked her eyes and smiled softly and sweetly, "They celebrated my birthday."

"Where is Mark?"

"He is busy." Easily audible and perfunctory.

Mr Miller deliberately choked her, "He is so busy that he let another man take you home. How generous of him."

Isla lowered her eyes and frowned imperceptibly, "No dad, it's because I don't want him to give it away."

Mr Miller made a serious face, which was quite scary, "Oh, that means he made you angry. Daddy will help you teach him a lesson!"

Her father loves his daughter very much, so he can really do this and be gentle and protective of his daughter, "That's not possible either!" Mr Miller shouted.

Mrs Miller glared at him, then asked Isla seriously, "Isla, do you want to reconsider your marriage to the Mark?"

The Miller family had a love affair, Isla inherited it from her father, but Mark was not a good man and his heart was not with her. Didn't she understand? She understood, but as for the shaft, a tendon was stuck in it and she couldn't extricate herself.

Isla tilted her head, her lips were red and her teeth were white, and she smiled brightly, "Mommy, I have made up my mind and I will not change it again."

 ***

Ten o'clock.

The Thomas family came to the door on time.

The clouds were thick and low, and the weather was gloomy. Isla sat on the swing in the courtyard and looked at the man in front of her. He stood up straight, but he was absent-minded.

Isla bent her eyes and smiled, as bright as the bright moon, "Mark, we have decided to get married, aren't you happy?"
