Chapter 5 - Do You Need Help?

Isla Miller sat by the panoramic window and looked frequently at the door. She was wearing a long red velvet dress and a pearl necklace adorning her swan neck. She was naturally bright and charming, and the bright lights of the Hong Kong city reflected on her face through the glass window, making her even more so. A little more charming and colorful.

For an entire hour, the person Isla Miller was waiting for never showed up, but the sudden ringing of the bell disturbed the romantic and elegant atmosphere around her.

She took out the ringing mobile phone in her bag, and a look of disappointment flashed across her delicate and beautiful eyebrows. Isla pressed the answer button, her voice naturally soft and gentle, "What's the matter?"

"Didn't you say you wanted to give Mark Thomas a surprise tonight? Why is he chatting and laughing and looking at the stars with another woman on the lawn of the hospital?" The angry voice on the other side seemed to tear the receiver apart.

Isla pursed her lips tightly, and under the dark ambient light, her green eyes revealed a soul-stirring coldness. She pretended to be calm, "Really, I understand."

Just after hanging up the phone, a message alert sounded, and a 30-second video made Isla's eyes suddenly turn red.

In the brightly lit hospital, a handsome man was photographed holding the thin little white flower in his arms. His coat was on her body. The ambiguity between adult men and women was clear and strong, giving people the feeling that he would be deeply involved at any time.

Who didn't know that the Prince of Hong Kong City has infinite glory, but he was dumped by a white flower, and that white flower has become a cinnabar mole in his heart? Isla understood that the beauty in the video was his ex, whom he loved so much.

Isla didn't understand how much he needed to be remembered before he could let go of his current relationship and be by his ex's side. The coolness that came out of nowhere overwhelmed Isla's senses. She calmed down and dialed Mark's number, her white fingers trembling slightly.

It took her several calls to get through, "Isla."

Isla's voice was filled with tears, and she said humiliated, "One hour and seven minutes, Mark, no one has ever made me wait for so long."

"I'm sorry." Mark's attitude was sincere, but the next words were like an ice blade piercing Isla's heart, "I didn't mean to. I was delayed by the impromptu meeting."

Isla's face changed several times, and finally, a cold smile appeared on her red lips, "Is the meeting you are talking about Sarah?"

He was silent for a moment, rarely explaining, "Isla, she is sick and hospitalized. I can't ignore her."

Isla's gleaming eyes were full of grievance and suspicion, "So you can abandon me regardless of principles for her, right?"

"Feel sorry." Apologies have become formulaic and she won't even give her a bad excuse.

Isla stroked the corners of her eyes and tucked her red hair behind her ears. Her voice was soft and soft, "You promised to celebrate my birthday with me, and didn't you promise me?"

Mark became impatient and said, "Next time, I will make up for you next time."

Isla was even calm, "But birthdays only come once a year. Mark, come over now. I'll wait for you."

"Isla, stop messing around." In his eyes, was she fooling around?

Isla suddenly ended the call. She glanced at the carefully decorated high-end restaurant and smiled to herself. The tears in her eyes burst at this moment.

Isla and Mark were going to get married soon. She originally planned to make a formal confession to him tonight, as if this would break away from the interest chain behind them. She would regard this as a mutual love, but after weighing the pros and cons, the love and dislike below were too obvious.

The Princess Isla of Hong Kong City was a rose with thorns, but she was willing to pull out the thorns in front of Mark.

She had been in love with Mark for ten years and had expressed her love in high-profile ways several times, causing a sensation in the whole city. Who had not witnessed this love affair in Hong Kong?

Isla's sense of loss was too obvious. She was immersed in sadness, her eyebrows were dim, and the red wine bottle in her right hand was quickly empty. Axel Ash tasted bitterness on the tip of his tongue, and his heart felt like it was being pressed by a stone, with a particularly dull pain.

He was silent in the dark for a long time, his red eyes still deep as he watched Isla get drunk for another man. She was about to get up and leave when the sound of footsteps suddenly came to her ears.

She suddenly raised her eyes, and the surprise in her eyes returned to death in just a second. Not him.

Axel Ash saw the light in her eyes extinguished, a dull pain lingering in his heart, but his face remained calm, "Miss Isla."

"It turns out to be Mr. Axel Ash."

The man in front of him was wearing black clothes and black trousers of exquisite texture. He had a slender and straight figure. He had a natural elegance and a picturesque face that was extremely beautiful. However, his eyes seemed to be born without sadness or joy, as cold as ice but inadvertently showing some unexplained emotions.

Isla knew that he had come to discuss business with her father. Her father's words revealed that he needed to rely on this man. She raised her red lips and smiled, "Mr. Ash, would you like a drink?"

Axel's eyes were fixed on her face for a moment, and he gently advised, "Wine is easy to intoxicate, Miss Isla, use it in moderation."

Alcohol can easily make people unconscious. And she was drunk. The delicate face was covered with blush, with a rose-like color, and the conflict between purity and charm was like an oil painting infused with soul, so beautiful that it was breathtaking.

Isla stared at the liquid in the glass, a red light flashed on her face, and she laughed, "It's just right to be drunk, but suddenly I don't want to be sober."

"Why?" She only smiled and did not answer. The next moment, she put down her wine glass heavily.

Isla stood up suddenly, but her body was shaken by the alcohol. Axel retracted his outstretched hand when she held the corner of the table. The prayer beads wrapped around his right wrist quietly slipped out of the cuff, covering the tangled veins on the back of his hand.

"Ms. Isla, are you okay?" Axel's clenched fists were hidden behind his back, and his dark red eyes were as quiet as ink. If you look closely, there is a darkness hidden inside.

"I'm fine." She smiled brightly, hiding the trace of embarrassment very well. She picked up her bag and said, "Mr. Axel, if you please, I'll leave beforehand." She had never been a waiter. The environment in which she grew up told her that the only way to get what she wanted was to go for it.

He was polite and said, "I think Miss Isla has drunk too much and is not suitable to drive. Wherever you are going, I will give you a ride."

Her mind was briefly dizzy, and she suddenly agreed unconsciously, "That's fine, then I'll trouble Mr. Axell." The black Cullinan galloped through the bustling night of the port city. Isla looked at the man driving the car. He was holding the steering wheel with his left hand, and his five fingers with distinct phalanges were exceptionally slender and beautiful.

Isla suddenly came back to her senses at this moment and remembered the things about Axel. The powerful were also divided into different levels, and Axel Ash was the top businessman in the city. She forgot her first meeting with Alpha Axel.

She pursed her lips and said, "Thank you."

He had a smile in his eyes, and the light and shadow shone on his face, mysterious and unpredictable, "It's just a matter of hands." Cullinan stopped outside the hospital.

Under the light, her smile was pure and polite, "goodbye."

His pupils were very dark. He suppressed his emotions and said in a calm voice, "Miss Isla, do you need help?"
