Inheriting the style of the common room, Hufflepuff student accommodation is similarly spacious and warm. Four beds are placed in the nearly 100-square-meter room, each separated by a desk and a wardrobe. There is enough space for everyone.

When the dormitory assignments were finally made, there were only three boys in Wayne's dormitory because the number of students was uneven. Their suitcases had been delivered to their beds by the house-elves. They unpacked their things, washed briefly, and then lay on the beds to have a tea party.

First, they introduced themselves.

"My name is Norman Sherlock," the blond boy on the bed closest to the door said enthusiastically. "My family is ordinary. My father is a school teacher and my mother is a real estate agent. When I received the admission notice, I thought it was a prank."

"Professor Flitwick came the next day. At first, my mother thought he was a physically disabled beggar and gave the professor five pounds. But then, Professor Flitwick used a spell to conjure a bison out of thin air and made it levitate around our house. That's when they finally believed it."

Norman's eyes were shining as he spoke. Once he learns this trick, there might never be a shortage of beef at home.

"We're not much different," the black-haired boy sleeping between Wayne and Norman said. His name was Toby Brown. "My family is half and half; my mother is a witch."

Norman asked curiously, "Then you're not a mixed race. How can you say you're similar to me?"

Toby explained, "To hide her identity, my mother never used magic in front of us. When I received the letter from the owl, my father thought it was a scam, but my mother insisted that everything was true. But when my father asked her to prove it, she had forgotten where she had lost her wand because she hadn't used magic for so long. In the end, Professor McGonagall came, and my dad believed it."

Norman laughed, and Wayne, who was drinking water, also choked. This was quite an unusual story.

"What about you, Wayne? Are you half-blood or Muggle-born?" Toby asked. Wayne didn't need much introduction; his impressive maneuvers in the side hall and the lengthy sorting process had already made every little wizard remember his name.

"I was born into a Muggle family. My reaction when I received the notice was similar to yours, nothing special," Wayne said briefly, without going into details about his home life.

It was getting late, so the three of them agreed to meet in the lounge the next morning to wait for Cedric to show them the way. The dormitory became quiet again.

Wayne noticed that his two roommates were easy to get along with. The only drawback was that Toby snored while sleeping. But this was not a problem for Wayne.

"Silence," Wayne said, waving his hand casually without even holding his wand. Toby was silenced, which lasted for three to five hours.

[Sneak attack on roommate, points +5]

? ? ?

Okay, fine. If you call it a sneak attack, so be it. Just give me points.

....

September 2nd was the official first day of school. Wayne woke up naturally at seven o'clock. He woke his two roommates with a big gesture, and after washing up, they went to the common room.

Without keeping them waiting, Cedric appeared, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

There were only four of them in the common room at this time, and Hufflepuff was definitely serious about showing off. Few people came out of their dormitories until the last moment, and those who did went straight to the auditorium to eat.

"Come on, go have breakfast first, get your class schedule, and I'll take you around."

They got out of the passage and soon arrived at the auditorium. Living in a basement is nice because the cafeteria is close, and most classrooms are on the lower floors. It saves a lot of time compared to Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.

It was not eight o'clock yet, and there were very few young wizards in the auditorium. Hermione was the only new student at the Gryffindor table. Seeing Wayne, she waved hello. Wayne walked over.

"I'm going to follow Cedric to find the way in a moment. Do you want to come with me?"

"Okay." Hermione agreed readily. She had read "Hogwarts: A History" and knew how difficult the school's stairs could be. The reason she got up so early was to have time to get familiar with them.

After exchanging a few words, Wayne returned to the Hufflepuff table for breakfast. Compared with yesterday's sumptuous spread, today's breakfast was much simpler. There were baked potatoes, bread, sausage, bacon, eggs, beans, and drinks including milk, several juices, and hot cocoa. Wayne made himself a simple sandwich with two slices of bread, mayonnaise, bacon, and eggs.

Not long after he sat down, a parchment schedule appeared in front of him. First-year wizards had eight courses this year: Potions, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, History of Magic, Herbology, Astronomy, and Flying. Astronomy and Flying classes were only once a week, with Astronomy in the evening. The remaining six courses were divided into two to three classes each week, each lasting fifty minutes.

Wayne had no classes on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons this semester. Counting weekends, he had classes and holidays about equally, which was very relaxing.

After a while, the twins also came to the auditorium. They looked around and found Wayne. They immediately rushed over aggressively, as if they were launching an attack to accuse him.

"Wayne, how dare you come out!" Fred exclaimed.

Glancing at the passage behind the guest of honor seat, Wayne's eyes changed, and he asked doubtfully, "Why wouldn't I dare to come out? It's obvious that you and Cedric lied to me."

Fred sneered, "We only told you. Who told you to tell other little wizards?"

"I didn't know you were lying."

"Stop pretending, Wayne," George said, making a face. "I can tell at a glance that you're not an honest person. Fred and I have never been the only ones to prank others, and we've never been tricked like this."

Wayne looked scared. "What are you going to do? Aren't you afraid that I will tell Professor McGonagall?"

Fred sneered, "What's the point of telling Principal Dumbledore? Can you find evidence?"

"Mr. Lawrence can't, but I can!"

An extremely cold female voice came from behind the twins, and the smiles on Fred and George's faces froze. They transferred to Wayne's face.
