Vishnu fell into contemplation.
To address the current predicament, it was necessary to dispose of the Elephant Demon Asura and rescue Mahadeva from the demon's belly.
However, the demon was now protected by the Power of the Great Heaven.
The quickest way would have been to awaken the ascetic Parvati, to have Parvati strike and directly tear open the demon's belly, drawing Mahadeva out.
But if Parvati learned of this matter, things would only become more troublesome.
Parvati would almost certainly transform into her Kali form.
"We cannot let Parvati turn into Kali!"
"The harm it could do to the world might be even greater!"
Vishnu murmured in a low voice.
Shakti has two forms, one being Kali, who represents wrath; and the other, Gauri, who embodies auspiciousness and a mother-like figure.
Kali's power is far too immense.
Once she took action, the resulting disaster might well surpass that of the Elephant Demon Asura.
