The Immortal friends were wearing stern facial expressions.
His eyes swept across the Devas, he took a deep breath, and his chest heaved as he vanished into light in a flash.
Indra was sitting on the ground, head slightly tilted, looking at the spot where the Immortal had vanished in surprise.
Why did he leave just like that?!
The Devas looked at one another and collectively sighed in relief.
Although this Immortal friend was somewhat stubborn, fortunately he was not especially irascible, and didn't end up cursing them.
