"The Four Great Continents!"
Indra murmured.
The four large lands surrounding Mandara Mountain inevitably reminded him of the Four Great Continents.
Sun God Surya beside him nodded approvingly.
"Indeed, these are four pieces of land, the Four Great Continents."
"Look at the land to the south of Mandara Mountain, where my son Yama's Yama City is located, just below. It is thanks to the protection of Yama City that this land has been preserved, and it has the most Yama trees, so why not call it 'Jambudvipa'?"
Surya thought of his son and smiled contentedly.
"Yama" refers to the Jambu Tree.
"dvipa" is an abbreviation of the Sanskrit "dvipa," which means "earth."
Upon hearing this, Fire God Agni shifted his gaze toward the continent in the east. "The Gandharvas used to live on this continent, full of spiritual aura; how about we call it 'Purvavideha'?"
"Videha" means a place of spiritual aura in the east.
