It was the perfect opportunity for him to seize power!
At his words, Bali smiled.
"I have already returned the Heavenly Realm to Indra,"
Bali said.
Then, he lifted his head, put his palms together, and solemnly declared, "Indra is a sage, a sage whose heart encompasses the Three Realms, a sage who follows the Righteous Law to benefit the world, and therefore may obtain endless power, enjoying the blessings of the Heavenly Realm."
"A sage possesses good judgement, understands generosity, and sacrifices for others."
"The Heavenly Realm belongs in the hands of Indra, who possesses these virtues!"
"Is that wrong?"
Bali spoke earnestly and seriously.
Brahman's eyes narrowed slightly, and the corners of his mouth turned up in a sneer.
