Lava bubbled as the enormous head of the Shadowflame Dragon floated on the surface, its eyes tightly shut until suddenly, they snapped open.
Within its crimson eyes, the pupils contracted instantly into thin slits.
"Roar!"
It roared, its voice amplified by Shadowflame Volcano, instantly resonating across the entire Volcanic Oasis and trembling the surrounding Warm Enclave.
Angry, it struggled out of the magma, its huge black body shimmering with a red glow beneath the scales. Scalding lava slid off its wings, neck, and body, with billows of black smoke continually rolling out.
Together with the fury of the Shadowflame Dragon, the entire Shadowflame Volcano seemed ready to erupt anew.
In a flash.
The Shadowflame Dragon burst out from the crater, then towards the north, fiercely expelled a scorching jet of Dragonflame.
This Dragonflame burned the air, swiftly melting it before vanishing into nothingness.
