"Old sir, who are you?" Russell asked in surprise.
"Franken, my name is Franken, Mr. Russell," the elderly librarian replied with the grace of a gentleman removing his hat.
"Are you a scholar?"
"Yes, seventeen years ago, I was acknowledged by the Red Castle Grand Scholar Roundtable for my work on 'Prehistoric Geography of the Grand Duchy of Shadowflame' and was awarded the title of scholar," Franken said, his initially stooped back straightening as he spoke.
"Hmm," Russell said curiously, "as a scholar, why would you be working as a librarian in the private library of Bluebird Castle?"
Although the library of Bluebird Castle may be larger than some public libraries,
it is, after all, a private library.
