Under the fierce opposition of the Little Dream Dragon, Russell's suggestion of "eating only Ice Soul Pearls and not Ice Pellet Pearls" was, unsurprisingly, a non-starter.
The Little Dream Dragon was not truly foolish—it wanted the substantial meal of Ice Soul Pearls as well as the meager offerings of Ice Pellet Pearls.

The Gloomy Dreamland indeed expanded, but unfortunately, no new Magic Light blossomed around the manor's annex.
However, in the Glowing River, traces of Magic Light occasionally surfaced but soon returned to stillness. It was evident that there were treasures in the river, but they were difficult to find, as the river's flow was too strong during the warm season.
Russell even specifically stopped at several clam ponds to see if the clams had birthed any pearls.
