A plump and sturdy Golden Hound came trotting over, guided by the scent.
The Goddess of the Hunt contentedly ruffled its head and then took out her Bow and Arrows, drew a few characters in Hermes Script with her finger, and summoned back two Golden-Horned Deer leisurely munching on tender leaves behind the hill. Along with the Golden Hound, busy gnawing on bones, she leapt onto her beloved chariot and soared off to the hunting grounds of the Arcadian Mountains, to indulge in the entertainment that followed her main meal.
As the silvery light vanished into the horizon, two cautious figures finally dared to emerge from around the corner of the corridor. They tiptoed their way to the door and quietly slipped inside.
