The Hundred-Armed Giants, referred to in the "Divine Chronicle" as "Alodites" (commonly spoken of as "Hecatoncheires").
According to records, the Hundred-Armed Giants are the children of the Earth Mother Goddess Gaea, three in total, named Briareus, Cottus, and Gyes. They were all immense and ferocious monsters, even larger than the Titan gods and the Cyclopes.
So formidable that even Uranus and the twelve Titans feared them.
In the War of the Titans, Zeus, seeking to strengthen his forces, went to Tartarus and released these three immensely powerful Hundred-Armed Giants, who were willing to serve Zeus. During the battle, the Hundred-Armed Giants could hurl a hundred rocks as large as mountains at a time, making them irresistible to the Titan gods.
Ultimately, with the aid of the Hundred-Armed Giants, Zeus managed to establish a new order in Olympus.
