Instructor Ding shouted angrily, but to no avail, because at that moment he was the only one dead, while the other three stream viewers and Michelangelo were still alive, so he was the only one in the dead players' voice channel.
Instructor Ding could only watch the actions of his teammates from a spectator's perspective, unable to communicate with them at all.
He could only be resurrected after everyone had died or when both "a certain amount of time had passed" and "someone had brought back a key item" conditions were met.
Instructor Ding quickly grew disheartened and could only watch what his other teammates were doing.
The three stream viewers indeed encountered a Gazing Statue, but luckily, they could handle it since there was only one statue.
As for Michelangelo...
Instructor Ding was fuming, "Is this what you call 'scientific research'?"
