After the midnight snack, Ma Lu found a movie, but maybe because the Wandering Sorcerer was beside him, he completely relaxed and fell asleep halfway through the movie, even resting his head on the Female Sorceress's thigh.
He had a dream where those Dimensional Pirates came for him again, and were being defeated by the Wandering Sorcerer, scattering in disarray. Just as they were about to be completely wiped out, the Gates of Hell suddenly opened.
Out rushed a group of toasters, spewing out slices of bread. Ma Lu was desperately dodging, but still got hit in the face by a flying slice of bread; then another slice came flying and together they sandwiched him in between.
Struggling fiercely, Ma Lu found that the bread kept tightening its grip, and then… he woke up from the couch.
Sitting up, he noticed that the Female Sorceress was no longer in the living room.
Old Wang was watching the 1996 version of "The Eight Dragons of Heaven" on a new laptop at the dining table.
