AA's hands were trembling slightly; it was impossible for her not to be scared, but she had long since ceased to be the original AA.
Then she raised her right hand, forcefully wiped away the teardrops at the corner of her eyes, as if making a resolute decision.
As the authorization host system disabled the safety mechanism of the self-destruct button, a pure mechanical red button emerged on the keyboard to her left.
AA took a deep breath, and as she extended her trembling fingers to press it,
a message suddenly popped up before her eyes, "Don't self-destruct, we're coming!"
The next second, the control room's door was violently kicked open, and Sun Jack, clad in battle armor, rushed in. He furiously disconnected all the various data cables from AA and carried her as he dashed out.
"Boss, I'm sorry, I've troubled you again," AA said, burying her head in Sun Jack's chest.
Sun Jack quickly scanned the area, and after confirming that this AA was clone-free, he breathed a slight sigh of relief.
"You're from logistics; what are you doing on the front lines? Trying to get yourself killed?"
Sun Jack's mechanical arm quickly detached and scuttled toward the self-destruct button.
Taking advantage of this time, Sun Jack activated the mimetic camouflage and swiftly left the fierce front line with AA.
When Sun Jack set AA down on the ground, the spacecraft carrier in the sky also exploded at that moment.
"Don't run around anymore, okay? Go and properly repair your machinery in the rear," Sun Jack said, patting AA's head.
"Got it, Boss! We're going to win!" AA nodded vigorously in response.
"Yeah, we're finally seeing hopes of victory," said Sun Jack, looking up at the sky.
Although the money had been transferred and the majority of FFP's forces had regained their combat strength, the occupation of three cities meant the situation with public opinion was no longer the same as before.
Most importantly, X's rejoining proved that in the eyes of others, FFP was no longer invincible.
"Boss, what do you want to do after we win?" AA asked, tilting her head.
"After we win?" A smile crossed Sun Jack's face, but then it cooled again. "After we win, it's time to fulfill promises."
The battle that followed was incredibly fierce.
He didn't know how much time had passed, only that key cities had been fiercely contested back and forth for several days.
As the fighting on both sides grew more intense and increasingly chaotic, and nuclear bombs were tossed around like regular grenades, the Earth seemed to return to the state it had been in at the end of the previous epoch.
Radiation levels near the battlefield had gone off the charts; normal people couldn't even breathe without protective suits.
Sun Jack on the space station forcefully rubbed his face, his bloodshot eyes staring intently at the three-dimensional battle situation in front of him.
Several data cables were brutally inserted into his brain,
and with the network security in place, his mind was now completely linked with the Think Tank, synchronously sharing all the information on the current battle situation.
Through his efforts these past days, and with the boost from public opinion, they had already taken five of FFP's cities.
At this moment, both sides had basically moved most of their factories to the frontline, producing and using them instantly.
The new Sun Jack clones had an average age of 0.6 days.
Currently, both sides were engaged in a battle around the key city of London, where the majority of FFP's combat production lines were located.
"Maybe you should go rest now, I'll handle things here," Tapai offered.
"No, it's a critical time, I can't stop!"
"You haven't slept in eight days."
"I know, so I've suppressed the drowsiness and let my brain marinate in hormones," Sun Jack stared intently at the screen.
"There are so many Sun Jacks, having one more or one less of you won't make much of a difference, is it worth exhausting yourself like this?" Tapai said as he pulled a compressed biscuit from behind the armor plate and passed it over.
"Take a break, have a bite, if you don't eat, you'll truly turn into a Blue Dream," Tapai teased, patting the top of the skull.
However, Sun Jack did not take it, instead he suddenly stood up.
"Wait! Something's not right! They've still kept a troop back!?" Seeing a large cluster of red dots on the map, Sun Jack's face suddenly turned very grim.
"They're actually attempting to besiege the Himalayas! They want to resolve the Himalayas first!"
Watching the images transmitted from the satellites, Sun Jack's heart burned with urgency.
The message had already been sent, but a military fortress like the Himalayas had never been known for its speed.
Now, the Himalayas absolutely couldn't fall, otherwise without mobility, the current situation would collapse!!
Upon receiving Sun Jack's message, the spherical star city immediately ascended into the clouds, trying seemingly to evade the FFP's encirclement.
But since the opponent had made a move, they must have anticipated some reaction.
Under the effect of meteorological weapons, the whole sky quickly changed, a category-17 typhoon howled in, and a gigantic tornado, connecting heaven and earth, formed like a massive pillar.
These could only temporarily hold off the Himalayas, but it was enough.
By the time the typhoon subsided, the Himalayas were trapped in the encirclement.
Hundreds of spacecraft carriers had completely surrounded it.
FFP's foundation was incredibly thick; even after so much had happened, they could still divert troops from elsewhere for a sneak attack.
All spacecraft carriers had their weapons aimed at the Himalayas, making the atmosphere extremely oppressive.
Everyone in the city, through the network, watched everything outside, almost forgetting to breathe.
Just when everyone's face began to show despair, a beam of light shot down from the heavens, vaporizing half a spacecraft carrier.
And this was just the beginning. As beams after beams of light fell from the sky, the encircling spacecraft carriers were pierced through by the laser beams, catching fire and tilting towards the ground.
Those beams of light falling from the sky, like celestial fire, precisely destroyed each target Sun Jack sought to obliterate. Before the battle even began, the encirclement had been breached.
And this was the true power of a Sky-base Weapon; only returning to outer space could the Sky-base Weapon unleash its full potential.
With the help of Sun Jack, the Himalayas, with its shields activated, finally escaped the encirclement to join with the incoming spacecraft carrier support troops, a seemingly fatal crisis was averted.
Through the imaging satellites, Sun Jack let out a slight smile, and accompanying his system controls, the Sky-base Weapon orbiting the space station in outer space slowly rotated and once again emitted a blinding light from its top.
Sun Jack picked up the Blue Dream Skull from the stool, nonchalantly threw it to the side, and plopped down in his seat.
"Friend, time to make way, if you could sit here, naturally so can I."
As he settled, looking at the FFP troops quickly gathering at all locations on the satellite map, he started using the Sky-base Weapon for global long-range strikes, throwing the entire battle into complete chaos.
