"Jack, someone is coming."
As Sun Jack looked up, he saw seven or eight streamlined silver hover cars speeding towards the planet from distant space.
When the cars landed and the doors opened, an X with cobalt blue hair stepped out and walked towards Sun Jack. "Jack, there's a response from FFP."
"Really? What did they say?" Sun Jack asked, pressing his foot on a seam he had already gnawed open.
"They said that to deal with you, they have recorded all your data, including your personality. According to their intelligent supercomputer's personality profiling, the current you would absolutely not negotiate with them."
"Besides, they warned me that if Sun Jack was coming to negotiate, he definitely had an ulterior motive."
As he spoke, groups of cyborgs in bulky exoskeletons emerged, brandishing various weapons aimed at Sun Jack. The atmosphere of the entire planet began to tense up.
Looking down at the various shapes of laser positioning on his body, Sun Jack feigned calmness and looked at X very seriously. "So, you believe what they say rather than me? Don't forget, they were once your arch-enemies! They're trying to drive a wedge between us!"
X stopped 20 meters in front of Sun Jack and shook his head regretfully. "I don't trust you, nor do I trust them. I trust science."
The next second, all the weapons fired instantaneously, and a barrage of lasers and tracking missiles were shot at Sun Jack.
As Sun Jack pressed his hand, a "hum" sound was heard, and an orange Position Protection Shield appeared, blocking all the attacks.
"Poet! Cover me for a while!" Sun Jack drew his laser weapon and began frantically helping the nanoworms in their cutting.
"OK~" The Poet did not hesitate in such matters. Flames from the thrusters appeared on the back of his calves, and his body dashed towards the cyborgs like a blur.
He ignored X, who was watching from the side, because he knew that a being of this level was definitely using a spare body. Taking him hostage would be futile.
Although the Poet's individual combat ability was impressive in the distance, they clearly didn't need to deal with the Poet. They just needed to hold him off and send some people to flank Sun Jack.
Watching the cyborgs shooting at him and frantically running towards him, and seeing the system interface's reactor overload warning, a drop of cold sweat fell from Sun Jack's forehead. "Hurry! Faster!"
The stage metal was clearly designed with laser protection in mind, and the progress was very slow. It had melted only a little by now, revealing half an interface.
Suddenly, a Graviton Cannon shot right at Sun Jack from his left side. The weapon, with its immense momentum, directly blew Sun Jack away.
The next second, Sun Jack's body organs overloaded as he rushed towards his adversaries to prevent them from interfering with the nanoworms' gnawing.
Sun Jack was fast, but clearly, after he had indiscriminately shared his DNA technology, it was no longer valuable. The cyborgs' mechanical bodies were not significantly inferior.
For a time, the battle was fiercely contested. However, Sun Jack was merely biding time and not fighting with them for his life.
Once he saw that the nanoworm's interface had appeared, Sun Jack did not hesitate to break free from the entanglement and returned to the stage.
Opening the protective shield again, Sun Jack unhesitatingly pulled out the boost data line and forcefully plunged it into the network physical interface. Everyone momentarily stopped and turned to look in his direction.
Sun Jack's mouth curved slightly upward, excitedly asking, "uh? Is it connected?"
However, met with Sun Jack's inquiry, there was only silence.
"Pfft," a sound as a blue-hued laser blade stabbed out of Sun Jack's chest, the voice coming from X standing behind him.
"He's offline now, Sun Jack, do you really think I'm stupid? Don't you know what you're trying to do? Any physical port you approach is disconnected, and the wireless ports are tightly guarded."
"Sun Jack, you've really disappointed me. I've been helping you wholeheartedly, and yet you've deceived me. You've spent too much time with the lower classes, and their despicable qualities have influenced you."
With a hiss, the laser blade that pierced Sun Jack's heart and the miniature reactor withdrew, folding back into X's left forearm.
"Damn it!" Sun Jack coughed up blood, his face contorted as he tried to stand up again.
However, as X flicked his left arm again, he neatly chopped off Sun Jack's head and held it in his hand.
Seeing this, Poet immediately spread his arms and shouted loudly, "I surrender, I surrender! I've always disliked them, Sun Jack and I are irreconcilable!"
X glanced at Poet, whose information then appeared on the system, name: J&W, lead singer of the band 'Throat Slitters'.
Famous bands from the outer city were allowed to enter the inner city to entertain, a special perk of their market influence.
Seeing that he was a nobody, X ignored him, holding Sun Jack's head while waiting for a hover car in the distance.
"Go, extract all the memories from this clone and see what valuable things are inside. Also, remember to run a multi-layer simulator on his nervous system to prevent anything like the Kang Tao Virus."
"Yes," replied the security personnel, whose skin had been modified to be permanently under mimetic camouflage, as he took the head.
With the death of Sun Jack and the extraction of his memories, Sun Jack's plan to seize the Himalayas with UO was discovered, immediately raising several security levels in the area and beginning a massacre of all the Wild Men within the city.
Time passed slowly. Nothing happened, and Sun Jack did not proceed with his next plan. X understood that if he were him, he wouldn't confront the well-prepared Himalayas either.
Seeing the information that popped up on the system interface, Sun Jack still in his dying throes tried to take over another city, X lying on a black and white silk-legged sofa, shook his head regretfully.
"I actually liked you quite a bit, Sun Jack. You've really disappointed me."
Just as he stood up, ready to extract some memories and seek other entertainments in the outer city, the entire system interface suddenly shook violently, but quickly stabilized.
The next second, the entire brilliant, gorgeous sky blue-screened, displaying a large 404 across it.
"What's going on?" X asked on the channel, but there was no response.
"I'm sorry, but it seems you've been disconnected." UO's digital form popped up on X's system interface.
Seeing UO's oddly contorted face go pale, X exclaimed, "That's impossible! You can't enter here!"
"Unfortunately, I just did, haha, I came in through Sun Jack's head."
As soon as UO finished speaking, X realized, even through the artificial sun, he could hear the sound of explosions outside, growing more frequent.
"Although your inspection of Sun Jack's systems was very thorough, you forgot one thing; I am but a string of data, my carriers can be anything, including Sun Jack's memories."
"As long as this string of data enters any computer, I can come back to life."
"That clone of Sun Jack was sent here with this very purpose, everything else was just a facade."
