"Zzzz~" Accompanied by a harsh scraping noise, the Mantis Blades extended deeply from Sun Jack's forearm into the metal wall, sending Sparks flying and producing a grating friction sound.
As he looked at the chaos within the shield machine, Sun Jack swiftly shut off his pain perception, while simultaneously inducing his brain's pituitary to release adrenocorticotropic hormone through neural adjustment.
Under the influence of adrenaline, Sun Jack's heartbeat and blood flow accelerated, and he began to regulate his blood sugar levels to ensure that every part of his body had sufficient energy in the emergency on site.
After quickly analysing the situation, Sun Jack fiercely pressed his feet against the wall and charged towards the gap still emitting Liquid Metal robots, his arms transforming into gun barrels and firing wildly at the target.
"Tapai, make the shield machine surface! If this keeps up, we'll all be buried here!"
"It's no good! It's frozen! FFP wants to trap them all here!" Tapai said, while flames spurted from the thrusters behind him, dodging the frost spreading on the ground.
The frost spreading from below not only froze some people who couldn't fly but also froze the entire shield machine together with the surrounding soil.
"Fuck!" Sun Jack's mind raced, It was clearly a well-planned ambush, considering all aspects, intended to completely trap him here.
Watching the liquid Nanoworms approaching, Sun Jack gripped his Laser Rod tightly and swung it fiercely, and as the power of the Miniature Reactor in his body increased, one end of the Laser Rod rapidly lengthened and thickened.
With a single sweeping gesture, he instantly sliced several Liquid Metal robots into pieces, but as soon as Sun Jack's weapon moved away, the silvery liquid converged while rapidly approaching him.
Even more critical was that these liquid robots were gradually vanishing into thin air, and no matter how Sun Jack switched his Artificial Eye modes, he couldn't detect any trace of them.
Suddenly, Sun Jack's scalp tingled, and he quickly shifted to the left. A gravitational singularity instantly appeared in his former location, compressing a lingering Nanoworm into debris.
While Sun Jack avoided, several guided missiles flew from all dead angles and enveloped him with explosions in an instant.
This was just the beginning, with one thing leading to another, various unexpected attacks kept fiercely targeting Sun Jack.
Almost in an instant, several lasers pierced through Sun Jack's chest, going straight through him.
Fortunately, a second before this body died, Sun Jack directly transferred his consciousness to another clone inside the shield machine.
Before Sun Jack had a moment to react, a triangular laser instantly locked onto his head just as the laser sneakily attacked him, the screen abruptly went dark.
A gust of wind whizzed past, and Poet's towering figure blocked on Sun Jack's left side, shielding him from this attack.
The next second, with a flick in the void, intense heavy metal death rock exploded directly from his body, the sound so loud it almost made Sun Jack's eardrums bleed.
Immediately after, Poet's cheeks split open, and two rows of teeth protruded from within; then amid the explosive rock music, Poet still swung his dreadlocks and screamed loudly.
"Immense oceans of gore!! Rivers of pus!! Mountains of bones!! Rapture festers in filth!!"
"Clang, clang, clang!" Six long blades sprang from his elbows and wrists, and the next second, his body, leaving an afterimage, charged directly at those undetectable liquid robots.
Following the melody, the Poet began a frenzy of killing within the crowd. Sun Jack knew this guy had held back, but he hadn't expected that once he switched back to his own body, his solo combat ability would be so formidable.
Facing those undetectable liquid robots, the Poet was able to hold them off from Sun Jack all by himself.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, Jack, guys with their own BGM really are trouble. Why don't we also install speakers in our bodies? It seems to enhance combat effectiveness (゚ー゚)."
Tapai came over and applied another layer of energy shield to Sun Jack's new body.
"Stop talking and hurry up! Staying in this damned place is not a solution, we must get out of here!"
With a wave of his hand, the nanoworms from the other clones' battle armors gathered beneath him.
Under Sun Jack's control, the nanoworms quickly rose to the top of the shield machine, taking advantage of the Poet's defense to continuously nibble the metal into powder.
As Sun Jack activated the miniature reactor's remote energy recharge inside his body, the nanoworms acted like a small shield machine. Rocks and soil were continuously decomposed by the nanoworms, digging out a route towards the surface.
Sun Jack knew that staying here was literally a dead end. To survive, he had to escape this metal coffin.
During this time, liquid nanoworms attempted to block them, but Sun Jack, along with others, held them back. When he received the signal that the nanoworms were about to break through, Sun Jack was instantly thrilled.
He suddenly looked up, and the tunnel dug out instantly brightened. Then he saw the acid rain from the sky dripping down through the dirt pipe.
"We've broken through at last! Move! Quickly get out of here!" Sun Jack sent a message to those still alive at the scene, then took the lead and soared up the pipe.
As he entered the tunnel, the strong scent of soil hit his face, and just as Sun Jack felt a surge of relief to have survived the ordeal, suddenly it went dark above him.
The next second, Sun Jack saw a missile, perfectly matching the size of the tunnel dug by the nanoworms, hurtling straight down from the sky into the tunnel.
Upon seeing the nuclear bomb insignia on the missile, Sun Jack felt, in that instant, as if his heart had stopped beating.
As Sun Jack blinked slightly, he immediately moved, hesitating not a bit to detonate the miniature reactor inside him while his consciousness overlapped with that of a Sun Jack clone inside the shield machine.
The micro nuclear bomb went off with earth-shaking force, collapsing the tunnel the nanoworms had dug, but Sun Jack, with an overlapping consciousness, sent a warning to the others, "Get down! There's a nuclear bomb outside!"
Sun Jack then saw the originally 2-meter thick walls of the shield machine turn in an instant to something like putty, folding in toward him like soft cloth.
Sun Jack reached out to pull Tapai behind him, and then the surrounding nanoworms quickly swarmed, tightly enveloping him.
Accompanied by a muffled sound, Sun Jack instantly lost consciousness.
